"these pepole need to be turned in, scam , scam . they put a price on there web page for a canon 60d but got called from arron and found out he wanted to sell me a lens , battery upgrade and a charger. went on canon web and found out the lens he wanted to sell me was cheeper than the 28-200 is lens that was in the kit. 24hr digital called my credit card company and asked questions that made MasterCard think they were a scam.
I called 24hr back and told them to cancel the order they were trying to get my work address on record with MasterCard but I have used it many times with no problem. I was told they could not ship it intill i got it cleared with MasterCard. when I told them to cancel it they tryed to tell me they already shipped it. this is going to be a dispute with my credit card .
do not use this web sight to buy anything ! never!
and Im sure there are places to turn them into. I will be looking into it If you find any post it and we all can turn them in."
"OKAY – buyer beware. THIS is a SCAM! I took the bait and went after the Canon EOS 5D Mark II for $1,835 and thought I would save a few hundred and well….here is goes… Chris called me to confirm my order, then he tried to up sell batteries, a kit, a warranty, a lens, etc. up selling is not a scam, but what he was saying is simply not true, let me explain.
First – a company selling reputable products does not call you to confirm your order. You will never get a call fro Amazon, Best Buy, Adoramma, B & H, etc. You fill in the forms and you are done.
Second – Canon batteries will last for hours and hours even using a flash. I have shot 1,500 shots on one set of batteries for the Canon EOS 5D Mark II and at the end of the shoot was only at 50% usage. So when they tell you Canon makes a 30 minute battery, an hour battery, a two hour battery, etc. that is hog wash.
Third – Chris wanted to know why I “chose” to buy the grey market import versus the USA model. I printed each and every screen of my order and there is nowhere on the ad, in the market specs, anywhere where I “chose” any such animal. OK, this is was the straw that broke me. According to Canon and Nikon for that matter, there is no such animal as a grey market, aftermarket or secondary version of this camera. Don’t let someone fool you. I have been shooting for 30 years and am rather successful in doing do, there is no such product. The ESO 5D Mark II is a Canon flagship product and there is a reason it costs what it does, it is an awesome camera. I then picked up the phone and called my friends at Canon and told them what this guy told me and they laughed – of course.
Folks, don’t buy from here. You are only supporting scams and those that use people as prey. If a deal is too good to be true – it is. Peace of mind costs far less.

"I purchased a Canon Rebel T1i from 24hrdigital on January 18th, and paid extra for four day shipping. After the standard bait and switch tactics of most of these online camera operations, you know call to verify (and run up the price), and waiting until the 22nd with no information, I sent a email to "support" canceling the order due to failure to ship in a timely manner. After canceling the order, I received an email stating that my order had been shipped! Sent another email telling them the order was canceled. The order arrived on Jan 31st. and was refused and returned to 24Hrdigital.
It is now March 4th. and I have tried everything I can think of to get their charge on my credit card reversed and nothing is working. Avoid these people like the plague, they are dishonest and will steal from you, evidently with impunity. I see on this website, I'm not the only person who has had this experience.

"I order a video camera as a gift to my bro in Europe, I paid extra to get in very fast. I did not receive it on time (I was traveling back to Europe) and I had to cancel my order. The shipping should have been a 3 day express shipping. I haven't received any refund yet and nobody is answering my emails. I talked to a representative on December 13th and he told me I should receive a refund within 5 days and we are on February 21st and I haven't received anything yet and no answer from them."
" "24hr Digital Met my expectations. I am a Canadian shopper(Toronto)who was looking for great cross border deals and I found it here. The only compromise i incurred was a longer shipping/processing time - but it was worth the $700 i saved from buying a Canon 60D + high end lens. It was crucial to speak with sales rep and Gabe was awesome. Yes we talked about an extra battery, filters and other items that have been mentioned here in reviews but they were all 'recommendation' and again cheaper than Ebay Originals. In the end they gave me a wicked package that resulted in 1/2 price to Henry's ($1000 SAVINGS). I experienced no pressure tactics. Lastly the guys know how to "package and ship" to Canada for the 'ultimate' savings ;-). THANKS! " People need to chilax and not be so rushed if they expect wicked deals. way to go 24hr digital!! "
"I ordered a Nikon lens on November 29 for by far the cheapest price online. Unfortunately I did not research this company much. After 3 days of no response, a salesman (Ralphaez?) called to "verify" my order. He immediately went into a "bait and switch" trying to talk me into a "better" Sigma lens. Said that Sigma actually makes Nikon lenses. (Two weeks later I talked to a Sigma rep at a local camera store who, not surprisingly, denied that.) I clearly told the salesman I only wanted a Nikon lens. He continued to talk me into another lens, which I thought was a better (presumably USA model) Nikon lens and I agreed to it. But that night I finally did my research on 24hrdigital and promptly canceled the order. It had not been shipped or posted to my credit card, or even confirmed with the new lens. Ralphaez called the next day to ask why I canceled and I told him that I am not comfortable with their business practices. He went into his "we want you to be totally satisfied" speech and tried to get me to research this Sigma lens online with him. Turns out he was actually going to order the Sigma lens, not the Nikon USA model I thought we agreed to. I was at work and could not take time research then so I said I would research on my own and get back to him. But I did not want to buy from them and did not call him back. So the next day he processed the order for the Sigma lens WITHOUT my approval! And this time it did hit my credit card. I was beyond livid. By this time they were closed for the day and I woke up early the next day to call and cancel before they could ship it. I finally did cancel and got confirmation of that. By then it was December 5. As of December 13 there was still no credit posted to my credit card account. I called and then got an email confirming a credit was due. Now it is December 30 and there is STILL no credit posted. I called and was told by Harry that he would FAX me the credit slip in 5 minutes. After 15 minutes I called back. "5 more minutes" they said. That was another 15 minutes ago. Now Jack says he will take care of it right away. I'll believe it when I see it!
PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH 24HRDIGITAL.COM!!! Unless you are happy going with the bait and switch and high priced accessories and extended warranties they push on you, you will not be happy with their service.
BTW, I am thrilled with my new Nikon D7000 and 18-200 mm VR II lens that I bought locally during a "no sales tax" sale. Given the local service, that is a better deal than online!"
"they suck. i placed an order 7 days ago and have not received any confirmation email. I called 3 times trying to follow up on the order. I was on hold for 30+ minutes and was never connected with a person. I would never use this retailer again."
"I would not purchase items from this store unless you also purchase their accessories. The accessories are the key to how they make their money as they seem overpriced. It's a shame that they advertise low prices and then only deal with you if you get accessories. Shop around. I accidentally purchased or attempted to purchase items without checking store reviews. The salesman was polite however I don't think he actually processed my order. I have been waiting for a confirmation email which has yet to arrive. There is no instant tracking number given. I have been waiting on hold to speak to someone for 15 minutes so far. Not acceptable. The item I attempted to purchase was the nikon d3100 for $559 lowest price I found on the web. Again I have yet to speak to anyone to confirm any purchase however my credit care was not charged as of yet. Good luck if you attempt to purchase an item from this store. "
"Ordered a Sony CX550V camcorder which I was the best price on the net $ 745. I paid for it through Paypal and waited for the infamous call to sell up on some battery or warranty but it never came. Matter of fact nothing ever came I guess paypal scrared them off. When I called a couple of days later they said we will call you in 24 hours (taken from their name I guess). But I never got the call. So I went to Best Price Electronics I received the camera in 4 days paid about $40 more but at least they are in business. Best Price Electronics I highly recommend."
"I placed a order with this company on Dec 9 2010, I recieved a email on the 10th stating that I needed to call to verify the order (I am fine with that). I am on hold still right now and for the past 55 min and still have not spoke to anybody. At this point I am planning on canceling my order if I ever get to speak with anybody. Unless you have alot a free time to wait on the phone I recomened buying your product elsewhere."
"Placed the order for canon rebel T2i through the website… I got an e-mail back from you asking for credit cards’ three digits security code. I spoke to sales person when I called… the sales person (Gabe) took down the code and wanted to charge "insurance" of $22... per "policy”. Mind you my shopping cart, which i still have a print out of, shows $0 for shipping and handling. After arguing with Gabe, he placed me on hold, apparently to check with someone and came back on the line and said that he would waive the insurance and said order would go out Monday ( 5 days latter). He also wanted to sell me extra batteries and memory card, etc… but I declined all.
I waited till Tuesday to call them back to see if the order went out… was on hold many times, but finally got through… they next person who was supposedly “the sales manager” said that the order was placed on hold till I called them back. Now I was told that I’d be charged $45 for insurance and this gentleman still tried to sell me batteries and other things… after arguing and explaining that I missed my opportunities to buy on ‘black Friday” was told that I can still can buy elsewhere… I had to pay the $45 insurance to get this camera out or my order would be canceled… the guy even try to sell me a “retail package” of the camera… saying that what I had ordered was an wholesale “OEM”… (isnt' this bait and switch?) after trying to get the salesperson’s name many times, which he refused to give me, the guy hung up on me…

"i had searched via nextag and ordered a camcorder from 24hr digital on 26th , two days later they send a email asking me to confirm the order by calling them, when i called the rep tried to sell the extra battery for $99,which i declined ,they said they will send the original order in 7 days . but sent a email cancelling my order. Thinking that there was a miscommunication i called back , another rep picked up the phone and said in a very unprofessional way that order is cancelled , i can't talk now call later. i was so shocked by this i called again to confirm this was a scam, but the third rep told me that there is a back log hence the order is cancelled.i called net tag and told them about the scam , i have also lodged a complaint to BBB. These guys are crook who are running a scam , i hope the search sites would understand this and do the needful.I request every one who has faced this problem to file a complaint to the BBB AT www.bbb.org.

"This is a disreputable company. How they run their business may be illegal, if not, it should be. I don't have any "axe to grind" with this company, I just don't want anyone else to get screwed like I almost did.
My experience was very similar to the other bad experiences that people have described here. After placing my order I received an email from 24hrdigital to call them so that they could "verify" the order. As others have said, this verification was really a sales pitch to sell me unnecessary accessories. I don't know whether they were over-priced or not. They said the standard battery included with the camera was only a "30 minute" battery, whatever that means, and I really needed to order an upgraded battery for $42. FYI, Nikon says the standard battery is good for approx. 210 shots, which I think should be adequate for most people. They also tried to sell me an 8GB memory card for another $42. Again, probably way more than the average consumer needs. I agreed to purchase both of these accessories but called backed later to cancel when I realized I didn't need them. They continued to try to sell the options and haggle about the price. When I said no, they informed me of a $35 shipping insurance fee for the original order that, regardless of their assertions, was not clearly indicated, maybe in the fine print somewhere, but this extra charge was not shown either in the invoice when I completed my order or in the "order details" that they emailed me. I should have known something wasn't right when I couldn't print a copy of the invoice.
Don't take a chance on the excuses included in their responses here. There are plenty of other places to shop. Shop elsewhere."
"This seems to be their newest name! These charlatans use tactics similar to digitalelect, a division of Crazy Camera Deals. They will try to sell you an extended life battery, and quick charger. Do not buy from these crooks. You will receive the normal battery and charger. They have gotten hundreds of people with this scam! http://thoughts-of-dave.blogspot.com/2009/12/digitalelectcom-aka-digital-elect.html"
"I purchased a camera for my Mother and paid for expedited shipping. On the day it was supposed to arrive, I called to see what the status was. They told me they had "sold out" but could get me another one for a significantly higher price. They tried to bait and switch, which is illegal and they will be hearing from my attorney. This is a HORRIBLE company and I will never order from them again. I also will tell EVERYONE I meet about the horrible service."
