"First time order with this company. Very satisfied! They processed the order and shipped the same day it was received. Ordered on a friday and received it tuesday.Reasonable shipping costs, and they kept me updated on the progress of the order.Would use again and recommend!"
"1. 3DCool.com didn't email me to notify me that my item shipped, which is unusual in my online buying experience.
2. The tracking number furnished by 3DCool.com is invalid according to UPS (after I notified 3DCool of this via email, they responded by admitting that they goofed and that the unit was shipped by Fedex.
I haven't received the order yet, so I will reserve final judgement."
"1-Oct-2007, I placed an order (#23896) to purchase 3 fans. 3DCool.com has got my money but it rejects to deliver me the items because I didn't select the shipping method. The web system just showed me the shipping method : This is currently the only shipping method available to use on this order. Obviously I couldn't select / change any shipping method. I've sent 4 emails to ****@****:
4-Oct-2007 - My 1st email: asked why don't process my order
4-Oct-2007 - Reply to my 1st email: It was because I didn't select the shipping method. ****@**** asked me what shipping method I want to choose.
5-Oct-2007 - My 2nd email: I explained (with evidence) the web system doesn't allow me to select / change any shipping method. I don't know what shipping methods I can choose as well as the prices. I aslo complained the operation of the web system.
No response to my 2nd email.
8-Oct-2007 - My 3rd email: I explained again my difficulty that I couldn't select any shipping method and I don't know the details of shipping methods. I requested ****@**** gave me the detailed shipping information. I also requested ****@**** informed me how to contact the top management for further complaint. I also stated that I might seek help form Police.
No response to my 3rd email.
8-Oct-2007 - My 4th email: I accept 3DCool.com cancels my order and refunds my money. I'm also willing to pay a reasonable price for the adminstration fee. Just hope 3DCool.com lets me know what 3DCool.com will do for my case.
No response to my 4th email.
It seems that 3DCool.com just wants to take my money but it never delivers me anything. Hope the top management can read this message and take an action for this case.
PS: All the above dates are based on HK region.

3DCool.com has already contacted me on 09-Oct-2007. We made an agreement to solve this problem.

"Outstanding service and shipping options from this vendor (USPS). I wanted to rate SilenX but as silenX apparently does not sell direct I had to rate the reselling vendor with their invoice.
The SilenX 80mm 14db fan I ordered from them (to replace the SilenX one that went out in just a few months) is already making a buzzing noise. The fans shipped have a lighter "non UV" hue of color (to include the 120mm fan which BTW barely blows any air) than the newer SilenX ones--buyer beware. Also had a SilenX PSU blow. Done with SilenX for good. They suck. Second rate products. If I were 3DCOOL.COM I'd stop distributing SilenX products. Unless shipping and return shipping are included in refunds I doubt it's worth the trouble and money to return. Learned my lesson I guess."
"A little miscommunication due to bad weather out east. 3dcool.com is the real deal they are awesome. Fast shipping, i couldn't be happier. They have a customer for life. Thanks 3dcool"
"First time using this store. Was very pleased. I was able to find the exact product i wanted from this store where i couldn't find it anywhere else. Everything was just like they said. My order was processed within 1 day and my shipment expected arrival is what it's supposed to be. I will deffinitely be shopping there again. On a scale from 1-10 they get an 11 :)"
"Great company! I swear by them for PC cooling equipment, and I've been a customer since 2001."
"I am very lucky to actually live in Rochester, NY, home to two of the biggest case modding and cooling companies in the world. Personally I choose to go with 3dcool, as I don't get the feeling of shame when I enter their building to purchase products. I feel as if I have helped the good guys win!
On that note:
I picked up a thermalright heatsink, fan, and some paste at a good price. They have always been very helpful and respectful when I have been in there, even recommending other items. This can be hard to come by with other venues.
I would certainly shop there again, and I will."
"Ordered a product and paid for 3-day shipping. Credit card was charged on same day as I ordered the product. Product was not shipped until two days later. Delivery therefore spanned a weekend; end result: it took seven days to receive the product, even though I paid for 3-day shipping."
"Awesome customer service! Ordered Silenx fans, one was defective. They had a new one out to me in less than 2 days! Have been doing business with them for over 2 years, and will remains a faithful customer for years to come!"
"I have ordered from 3d for maybe 4 years now and thier service has always been excellent! Orders r filled and shipped promtly. They called one time to tell me a part was out of stock and offered a better one (no extra charge) as a replacement, shipped same day! On par with, if not better than, Newegg. "
"After my card was declined online, I called and spoke to Lou Sr. He was very helpful. He took my order from my cart and processed it manually. Turns out the card billing address was wrong with the bank. Lou called me back TWICE to explain and get a second card # as well as confirm that my order had processed and would ship the same day. Highly Recommended!"
"I placed two orders with 3dcool, with the first being a few weeks ago. I called the store with a a technical question and received a very detailed answer. To be honest, I didn't expect to hear from someone right away and I was surprised with the amount of attention that I received.
I was *slightly* disappointed, however because my order was placed Friday morning and didn't ship until late Monday or sometime on Tuesday. I emailed the store, and was satisfied with a confirmation that the items were shipped; I was just trying to verify that my order wasn't overlooked somehow. After the initial email, I received another email which offered an apology and an explanation for the delay. While I was annoyed by the slight delay, I found the reasons to be valid, and I greatly appreciated the personal attention to which I was given by those who run the store.
I recently placed another order with them early on a weekday morning, and received most of the order the very next day. Having priority mail as a shipping an option is greatly rewarding for those who live in relative proximity to their NY location. To my frustration, when I openned the package, I noticed that they supplied me with a substitute product. To be specific, I had ordered two Vantac sleeving kits, one in black, and one in blue. I received a Vantec blue kit and a black sleeving kit of a different brand. After I sent an email inquiring about this, I checked their website and the product I had ordered was nowhere to be found. So, I had made the assumption that the product had been intentionally subsitituted. The products seem to be of very similar quality (with the exception of the included zip ties which in one case were very flimsy, and the packaging was different). Since I assumed that this was done intentionally (I assumed the product was mistakenly listed as in-stock and then substituted when it was determined that it was in fact not available)I was somewhat frustrated. I had developed the idea that 3dcool.com had made an intentional substitution without first contacting me. They have my phone number and email address on file so I felt a little annoyed that they failed to contact me about the subsitution (although I was still very pleased that the order had arrived so quickly).
Now, I expected maybe a generic emailed apology or something of the similar sort. That was not the case. Instead, I received a phone call from the same person who had emailed me in regard to my first email inquiry (about the delay). Actually they made several attempts to contact me as I was unavailable to answer the phone on their first two tries. He reassured me that the substitution was NOT intentional was simply an unfortunate mistake. Since it was unintentional, I realized that of course nobody would contact me about the substitution. Since a mistake was made on their part, and the exact product I ordered was currently out of stock, and probably due to the fact that shipping back and forth might have cost more than the value of the product itself ($11), I was offered a full refund in the form of either a check or store credit. I was a bit surprised by this, but it helped reaffirm my impression that 3dcool is extremely dedicated to satisfying their customers. I determined that I will definitely order from 3dcool again, so I accepted the refund as store credit to reflect this intention.
Now, I am a VERY picky person (which is why even a slight product difference is enough to bother me), and don't recommend retailers lightly. From both of my ordering experiences with 3dcool.com, I whole-heartedly recommend doing business with them. If you've browsed the site, you will notice that their prices on some products are slightly higher than at other retailers while other products are slightly cheaper. I initially ordered from 3dcool because they have a large selection of hard to find Silenx cooling products. My second order, however, included only 1 Silenx product and several products which I could have purchased elsewhere (at slightly less cost in some cases). So why did I place the entire order with 3dcool? They offer very reasonable shipping prices, very expedient shipping times, and offer what I've determined to be VERY EXCEPTIONAL customer service. I've found their customer service to be wonderful, and the attention with which they respond to any inquiry is quite frankly phenomenal.
EDIT: I placed another order with 3dcool.com in April 2006. I phoned in my order so that I could redeem the store credit that was issued to me a few weeks ago. My order was placed promptly and all my questions were answered competently and completely. There was a slight issue with my order: their software added the store credit instead of deducting it, even though the transaction was processed properly. I was notified quickly about this, and the issue was explained in detail.
I am very comfortable ordering from 3dcool.com, and will continue to order from them for the foreseeable future."
"Outstanding customer service. Product questions answered with expertise to make product selection easy. Pricing might be on the high side with shipping but paying for good service and knowledge of product is worth something these days."
"I am a graphics developer whom hails from the great state of Montana. One of my biggest complaints about internet shopping is cluttered up vendor websites and browser confusion due to poor web design. At 3DCOOL.COM, none of these conditions exist and shopping navigation could not be easier. If your concern is computer thermal breakdown, save yourself some time and just shop here. Thanks for reading."
