"Excellent Customer Service. I was building a brand new machine and I lacked one small item that even NewEgg didn't carry. I was very upset that I had spent ~2k at NewEgg and they didn't carry a necessary part.

All my purchases with them since then have only reinforced what I experienced the first time. who says "it's never as good as the first time?". "OK, Here’s my saga ... I'm building my second HTCP. This time I am serious, not just morphing a standard PC tower. I have two key high priorities with this quest ... “Cool and Quiet” … With that, I am going fanless wherever I possibly can. I recently spotted a recommendation for this online company, 3DCOOL.COM and I placed an order for a CPU Cooler, (3) Quiet Case Fans and some Hard Drive Rubber Grommet Screws for vibration dampening. The CPU Cooler I ordered was the Thermaltake Sonic Tower, which I found as a recommendation on the web while surfing. I called Thermaltake to ensure it would fit in my Silverstone LC10M case and they said; "yes it would". When my order came in, well, 3DCOOL.COM sent me two Sonic Towers in error! Worse yet, it “didn’t” fit my case!! So, I called 3DCOOL.COM to explain I needed to return both Sonic Towers and spoke to Lew Mariotti. This guy is an electronic genius when it comes to PC cooling. Really knows his stuff. He spent quite some time listening to my goals, then educated me and recommended the best products for my solution. He then explained how I could return my Sonic Towers and said my shipping would be refunded when crediting my Visa card. Well, they received my package, but as it turns out I “didn’t” get my refund and was charged a 15% restocking fee! Ouch! Of course after this, I didn’t place my second order for the new CPU Cooler Lew recommended. I was somewhat frustrated, sent an email and left a voicemail with little expectation that I would get any response back. Again Lew took the time to pursue calling me to make it right. He apologized, offered to credit me the shipping on my second order and sent it two day priority mail! Bottom line for me, this was not a ton of money and was mainly a principle issue. To me, it’s harder to recover from a mistake and provide great customer sat … but that’s just what Lew did. I am convinced that this company has integrity, is serious about pleasing it’s customers and provides personal attention rarely found elsewhere when it comes to finding the appropriate product to meet your needs. So, two thumbs up 3DCOOL! I will be back, and will recommend you to my friends. Thanks very much!
