"I have purchased from 3 Balls since their inception. Purchased many clubs over the years and have never been disappointed. They originated from an owner of from Joe and Leigh’s Golf Shop in Massachusetts which set the standard for golf shops. I don’t know where some of the bad reviews come from, unless they are planted. Trust 3 Balls! "
"I had a very good experience with 3balls.com. I got a great price and my club was way better condition than I imagined for a used club. I paid $20 for 2 day shipping and it arrived a day late. I sent them an email and asked that they reimburse me half of the 2 day shipping cost to satisfy me and they voluntarily offered to refund the whole $20. That's excellent customer service. "
"Club never was delivered & after a ridiculous, pointless conversation & dispute I’m still out the $$ for it! Look somewhere else people"
"They shipped the incorrect lofted club,I sent pictures of the label as requested, up to date they have not responded and now
cannot access my account? Do NOT buy from this company!!!!!!!!!"
"I ordered a Taylormade M6 4H to replace M4 4H. They make a mistake and send me an M4 4H which I already have. I call them up and they want me to send pictures. Why did not they a picture in the first place? They can see their own mistake but no I have to do it. Then they authorize a return. I asked them that the season is getting closer to an end and to ship the correct hybrid right away and not wait for the return. They ship it only after getting the return. Now through some super low priority low cost shipping method. It has been in transit for TEN days now (less than 500 miles in total) and when I call them, they have no clue and it is fedex issue not theirs.
Lousy customer service. I complained - after all, it was their mistake in shipping the wrong club. No response. This is a very cheap company run by folks who have not an idea of the basics of customer service. I'll never buy from them again.
After 17 days of ordering, I still do not have the club. Unreal.

"Very sad that a Company sells full club sets and then turns around charges you for the Head Covers that came with the set. I was going to buy my wife a full set of Taylormade Kalea Clubs then come to find out they do not come with Head Covers. They pull them off and sell them separately when they received them with the Head Covers. HORRIBLE WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS"
"I dont know about the bad reviews, maybe their expectations on used clubs were to get clubs with new tags on them, but I have to say, I ordered " VERY GOOD" and they are almost like brand new. You would need a magnifying glass to see the imperfections. I am completely satisfied and would highly recommend them"
"I bought a Titleist 915 several months ago for 160 dollars. When I received it red flags were already popping up. The weight was off and the grip was odd. But looked legit. Took it to the course and boy oh boy. I'm a 5 handicap. My average driving distance is about 290-310. This club sounded horrible and out of several hundred drives over a month long period my longest drive was about 265. The shaft was horrid. I sliced about 175 straight golf balls. Absolute fake. I'm not happy at all and will never buy anything from this company again. "
"Found hard to find set of white dot Ping I3 O Blades + 1/2 “ and a Taylormade 8.5 M3 driver. Both at a very good price. Believe me, better than ebay and several used sites. Some time after the M3 purchase, maybe 8 weeks, I tried adjusting one of the weights and it broke. Made a quick and easy call to 3balls and they sent me a replacement FREE of any charges! No questions asked. That is customer service! "
"I ordered on line golf club. I paid for 1 day shipping. Fed ex took the club back to the ware house instead of delivering. I complained, was shipped another club without notice. I had no need for the club at that point and returned it. The company said I would receive a refund of $200. plus and it has been 4 months with no dollars returned. Total scam and fraudulent."
"Ordered a TaylorMade M4 3 wood and 5 wood both in LIKE NEW condition. Both were excellent with the exception that one came with the regular size TaylorMade grip and the other came with an Oversized Golf Pride grip. 3Balls.com offered to send a new grip to replace the oversize grip but needed the clubs for use the next day. So, I replaced the grip myself.
When I asked their customer support how to insure that the clubs are identical except for the loft or an individual LIKE NEW club is Taylormade standard, received a discussion that the club was on sale. Well yes, that is why I was at 3balls.com.
When I originally searched for a 5 wood, only a NEW club popped up at $199.95 with headcover. When I clicked on Used Clubs, a LIKE NEW club was available for $179.95 without a headcover. The cost of the headcover was $19.99 or just the difference of the cost of the clubs. I was using an AUGUSTA coupon code and of course it didn't apply to the new club. So, now I'm searching for headcovers.
My experience with 3balls.com has always been positive and I've recommended them to many fellow golfers. However, this time, the experience wasn't positive. It wasn't terrible but there were just enough little problems that lowered the experience to four stars."
"I was a little concerned with the bad reviews, but noticed they have very good ones as well.. so I ordered a pair of shoes and to my surprise they arrived much faster than expected, brand new, at a bargain price!!! I am very happy with my experience with 3Balls. Will definitely buy again from them! "
"I purchased a set of TaylorMade M2 irons from 3balls in December of 2017. In February of 2018 the plastic inlay on the back of the blade with the M2 logo fell out on 3 of the irons. I attempted to glue them back with Gorilla glue and this did not work. When I contacted their customer service I was told that it was a “Cosmetic” issue and was not covered.
The issue is not solely cosmetic but a weighting issue. Subsequent emails and phone calls have not been returned.
Be aware when you purchase from 3balls. There are many examples of this happening."
"They give you a return shipping label, like everyone else does, then back-charge you for that shipping cost. Ended up losing 20% of the cost of my item in the refund. Would have just kept the ill-fitting clothes if I realized."
"They take your money. don't honour their delivery times and then send your goods with items missing. You will not receive an apology or follow up. Their excuse will be that the item you selected is no longer in stock, however I bought that particular item because the website said it WAS in stock.
This business is not customer centric and I will not purchase from here again. "
