"So far, my items -- plug-in boxes that provide network connections over household electrical wiring -- is working beautifully. In less than ten minutes, I got them to work. I already understood from another comment here that one must not press the "Pair" button for more than eight seconds, and I did not do that. My MSI Netbook computer says that the speed over the network is 100 Mbps. And I got online with no problems. The outlet for the Netbook and the outlet for the router use different circuit breakers, but are both inside the same breaker box. Now I will try a more-distant computer. Well, maybe I'm premature with my glowing report. Hope not! By the way, the computer guy from whom I bought an Ethernet cable told me that these devices do NOT work in certain situations -- for example, they did not work at a restaurant in which ovens and refrigerators were on the same circuit breaker. He thinks I should be OK in my house, where oven and refrigerator are on different circuit breakers. So if you're thinking of deploying these devices, you might want to take this opinion into consideration. "
