Cannot get in touch with Ababy

"I purchased two bassinet skirts approximately 4 weeks back. One was shipped, the packing list had a line drawn through the second item. When I check my order online, it shows both have shipped. I have been trying to contact "ABaby" during the busy hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, via their phone number provided on the website 877-55-Ababy, originally it would ring and then some message of call back, now I receive a phone not available. I have also attempted to contact them via their chat line, the message I received is "WhosOn Chat: Not Connected".

I would really like to have that second bassinet skirt that I ordered.

Be cautious if you are planning on ordering from this company!!!

"I had a very good experience with aBaby. When there was a confusion with my custom order, a rep called me promptly to help sort out the issue. She was very helpful and had the order on its way without any misunderstanding.

Very Disappointed.

"My initial experience with ababy.com was positive. I ordered a custom bassinet mattress and was thrilled when they told me it would ship in a week. I paid extra for overnight shipping and did receive it in about 10 days. However, when it arrived it was not what I ordered and the sheets and mattress pad that I also paid extra to have shipped did not arrive. It is now one week later. I have called ababy every day and every day they tell me that they will check on the shipping. Sheets and mattress pad have still not shipped and they have no answer for me when I ask about getting the right mattress. It is impossible to get an answer on the phone. they do not call or email you back. Is there another place where you can buy a custom bassinet mattress?"

Overpriced junk

"I Ordered a princess bed. Arrived more than 12 weeks later in April, after multiple inquiries. I found it to be poorly constructed of cheap material and difficult to assemble. There was also shipping damage.
Hopefully the bed will last a few years, after which it will go straight to the trash.

Positive buying experience

"So one of my friend who is mother of two lovely boys adviced to me to take a look at this site ababy.com as I was all set to welcome my first baby. I browsed through the website and was amazed to see so many varieties of all the products. It was a one stop shop for all my needs. I bought everything from my nursery over here.
Although the shipping process was a bit slow, it was compensated by the products quality. The customer service executive was quite helpful as I was a bit impatient looking at the delay in the shipping.
All and all it was a positive buying experience.

lackadaisical to say the least.

"poor communication and general lack of interest from ababy.com in resolving or escalating their "warehouse" problem. my order was initially played on August 4, 2016 and as of today, October 5, 2016, I do not have my custom mattress order nor has it been shipped. I would not buy from this company again and would have rather spent my money elsewhere at this time. "

cheap

"I wish I had looked at these reviews BEFORE ordering anything from this website! I went with them because they were cheaper. But, you get what you pay for! The materials used in a bassinet were falsely listed (said cotton, showed up 80% polyester). I wrote a review and emailed ababy customer service. No response to my email and my review along with all reviews on the product have suddenly disappeared! I would NEVER recommended or buy from this company again! They are a scam!"

"I ordered a vanity for my daughter for Christmas. I received an email stating that they were backordered for the design that I wanted. So I spoke with a representative who stated that the other design was available to ship immediately and I told her to go ahead. A week later I had received no confirmation or contact and decided to email them. To which I was then informed that the replacement item was also backordered. I was offered a $10 discount. Horrible guest relations. I would not recommend this site to anyone looking for quality service or product. "

"Terrible company! I ordered a dresser and weeks later was notified it was on back order after I contacted them. After months of waiting, I got the dresser. However, the actual color of the dresser was a dark wood, when the pictures of the dresser online are a light wood. I had to pay 100 dollars to have it shipped back. I'm now 500 dollars into this dresser and have yet to get any refund after 13 days that the return package has been signed for at the company. The customer service says I'm out a 20% restocking fee and the 100 I had to pay to have it shipped back. So I'm essentially waisting 180 for nothing. It's not my fault the website pictures do not reflect the actual product. Plus, I'm still waiting on a refund for the rest! I've contacted pessy at costumer services. She said yesterday that I would see the refund to my account shortly... Still no refund! "

"Biggest scamming piece of crap company I have ever dealt with. Will say items are in stock, take your money, and say that they are preparing your items for shipping. 4 weeks later, items still haven't shipped, they don't have them in stock, and they refuse to refund your money. I had to file a claim with my credit card company ... BEWARE!!! FRAUD!!! SCAM ALERT!!!"

"VERY HAPPY! I ordered the Kidkraft Amelia Dollhouse for my daughter for Christmas on 11/5/2014 and I received it today 11/11/2014 it took less than a week for me to get! I was nervous at first after seeing that this company was fairly new and after reading all of the reviews after I had purchased the item, but after speaking to the customer service rep I was satisfied. The only thing I recommed to the business owner is to follow up with clients with their tracking number for their purchased items. Also, the item I purchased was right on point! NOT DAMAGED, PRICE AS STATED ON WEBSITE, FREE SHIPPING AND NO TAX COSTS! "

"I received a Personalized Upholstered Denim Rocker for my son as a gift for his 1st birthday. I loved it until he tried to stand on it. The chair is a rocker so it rocks. Well he almost flipped over, but didn't because I was standing right there. I contacted ababy.com immediately & explained to them the situation. In the email I explained that I completely understood why they would not do an exchange or refund on certain chairs that have the name personalized on the actual chair material, but the chair that I received had a slip with my son's name on it. The actual chair is not personalized, only the slip that comes on & off, which probably cost the company $10. I then explained that the chair was not safe for my 1 year old. It is a rocker, not sturdy at all. In my eyes it does not meet safety standards for a 1 year old. All I wanted to do was exchange the chair, no refund. I even sent the company pictures of my son almost flipping over in the chair (I was there to assist him so he did not). The company responded with: "I have confirmed with KidKraft’s Safety Testing and Global Compliance manager that standing up in the chair does change where the center of gravity is in that chair. There is no issue with this batch code, and if this product is used as it is intended all safety standards are met for children’s toys. The product is completely safe and is not defective in any way". Even though I did not order the chair because it was a gift, I will NEVER order anything from them. I strongly urge anyone who orders from this company to be 100% sure you want the product or if buying as a gift that the person will want it because they do not budge. Giving them 1 star was considerate. I would give them zero stars"

"Received a Pony Tire Swing as a gift for my sons bday from relatives out of state. We already had a swing just like it so we wanted to return it. I contacted ababy.com and told them the situation. They said they would not pay for the return shipping. The shipping cost was half of what the swing cost so it wasn't cost effective for us to ship the swing back. They refused to help so now I'm stuck with this swing I have no use for. I guess I'll try to sell it on craigslist a and get something for it. I'm sure I can get more than half it's worth which is what I'd get if I returned it. Disappointed needless to say. I will not buy anything from this company again!!"

"Wow, it is amazing how similar the other reviews are to our experience. My wife ordered a VERY expensive, custom crib from ababy.com in March 2014. They accepted full payment immediately, and the crib was to be shipped in 6-8 weeks. It has now been 16 weeks, only 7 weeks from our due date, and we still have no crib. Every two to three weeks we are able to contact customer service and speak with "Siri" ("Tziry" maybe), who is an expert at ending your call as soon as possible. She is extremely dismissive and tells us every time that the crib will be shipped by Friday, or the following Monday at the latest. "Siri," throughout our conversations, would repeatedly say "okay, well I will look into it and email you," just to try to end the phone call. Of course she would not contact the "designer," or send us an email. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, she told me there was not one, as she was the head of customer service. She gave me no specific explanation for the extreme delay and refused to give me the contact information for the designer. As of today we still do not know when or if we will receive the crib that we paid for in full in March. DO NOT ORDER FROM ABABY.COM. This has literally been the worst consumer experience of our lives."
