"I ordered an item in February 2014. I paid via paypal and Ababy.com had the funds the next day. It is now mid-june 2014, almost 16 weeks later, and I have not received my order. Ababy.com does not have good customer service. They take forever to answer the phone and do not return calls as promised. They take days to respond to emails. In my case, they claim my item is a custom item that has been delayed due to a backlog with their "designer." However, the item is listed as available in 6-8 weeks. It's been 16 weeks. Moreover, the item I ordered is not even a custom item, its a standard item listed on their website that was not customized or personalized, its even available on other websites! Even if it were a custom item, it is unreasonable that it would take 16 weeks. Ababy.com has refused to give me a discount for these delays or even to have the "designer" expedite my order. Moreover, Ababy.com has twice told me that they will be shipping my order within a week and I never receive a shipment confirmation. The first time was in May 2014, then another 3 weeks went by until I received another email telling me that the order would ship by the end of that week. I guess they forgot they already told me that line before. After my dealings with them I went online and saw other reviews and complaints with the BBB that Ababy.com has done this exact same thing to other customers. Don't order from this store- they refused to give me a refund. I wish I never gave them my business or my money."
"I completely agree with the other reviews regarding ababy.com lack of customer support. It seems that it's pretty common for this company to not ship items and when a customer complaints, simply tell wait another 4-6 weeks before we ship.
I wish I had read these reviews before I wasted 4 weeks waiting for my items to arrive. I will never buy from ababy.com again and would advise anyone to stay away from this company... as you always run the risk of never getting the items ordered."
"Extremely upset and have not been told the truth about this gift of child's name wood puzzle. This item was ordered on December 12, 2013, as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. It was not shipped in time for Christmas. The first delay was when ababy.com called to ask the name for the puzzle. This was in spite of the name I had put in the block on the order form. I was next sent an e-mail that stated the puzzle would be shipped on or about December 30, 2013. On Thursday, January 9, 2014, I received a call from someone who identified themselves as being with customer service. They told me that they would be sending me an e-mail that showed that my item had shipped. This e-mail would go out to me before January 12, 2014, because, they said, “(name of large on line seller) has a policy of cancelling orders that are not shipped within 30 days.” They asked when I needed it. I told them that I needed it for her birthday party on the next Sunday, January 12. The representative told me that they could not ship it by then, but they would ship it as soon as possible.
On January 16, 2014, I called again to check on the status of the puzzle. I was told that it had not been done yet. They guaranteed that it would be done and shipped by Friday, January 30, 2014. On February 6, 2014, the puzzle was still not here. So I called. I was told that they would check with the warehouse to see when it would be done and shipped. At first it was to be a Christmas present, then a birthday present, now it was not be here even in time to be a Valentine’s Day present. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am that I have spent the time and energy on this. The company did credit one-half of the purchase price back to my credit card.
On February 6, 2014, the company promised that the puzzle would be shipped by Friday, February 14, 2014. It was not. It was shipped UPS from Florida for arrival in Ohio on February 24, 2014.
The puzzle, when it finally arrived, was not as promised. The entire puzzle is 9 inches long and the letters are just over 2 inches high. (the (large on line seller) listing says that it will be a minimum of 16 inches long, depending on the length of the name [ours was 5 letters] and the letters will be 3 inches high.) The letters are packed so close together that a child cannot get their fingers between them. Also, contrary to a question from a shopper, the letters ARE NOT raised above the surface of the puzzle.

"At 32 weeks pregnant I found out that Aababy.com FORGOT to place the order for the crib I ordered more than 10 weeks before. They did not, however, forget to charge my credit card. Their only solution to rectify the situation was to ask me to wait ANOTHER 10-12 weeks for the crib. After explaining to them about the normal gestation period for human beings, I informed them that I could not in fact wait another 10-12 weeks. The only reason I even found out that my crib was never coming was because I called numerous times even waiting on hold for over an hour before being disconnected and emailed them before they finally got back to me and realized their mistake. I was forced to hastily find another crib that would match our nursery and arrive sometime before baby did. I am still waiting for a refund. I do a lot of online shopping and have never seen this level of incompetence coupled with a complete disregard for their customers."
"I ordered a mobile from this website and paid for 3 day shipping to make sure I received it quickly. It took them 3 days to finally process and ship the product, and when I received it the music box wasn't working properly. When I called customer service it took forever to get through all the automated stuff and finally get to a customer representative, who was very rude. She didn't want to believe me when I told her about the music box so I finally just played it so she could hear it on the phone, and she told me she couldn't hear it and that it sounded fine. It took 4 times of playing the music for her to finally hear it, and she finally said she heard it and she would have to email her boss and she would email me if they could do anything and it would take a day or two before they could get back to me. This is very aggravating because I paid extra to get it quickly and now I have something that doesn't work right and they're not going to take care of the issue very quickly. Definitely will not be using this website to order anything else every again."

"Awful customer service. Completely dissatisfied with the quality of a personalized product and they refused to offer any type of promotion or exchange for another product. This is after I ordered 10 other products that I was very happy with. The "supervisor" Rachel, told me that she was surprised that I was unhappy with the quality bc she had such great feedback, yet when I go on the product review page, there are NO reviews. And I even left a negative review myself that has yet to made an appearance. I was only asking for some sort of exchange or credit to buy another (more expensive) product. "Ordered a custom cradle mattress from ababy.com b/c it was surprisingly the only place online that offered such a service. $40 for a custom mattress was an acceptable price until it arrived. The foam is cut to the correct size, but the cover is cheap, loud, crinkly plastic. I will be cutting it off and just placing a sheet saver directly on the foam, followed by a fitted sheet. Waste of money. DO NOT BUY!!"

"I ordered 2 items: Little Angel Bassinet set (Frame + Bedding) and a basssinet petticoat. The order shipped and arrived wihtin a little over a week, but when only the frame (low quality and dirty)was shipped. I call customer service and was told that the rest of my order was "in prodution" and would shipp at some point this week. I was charged the full amount but only reveived half of the merchandise. I wrote a review on their site and it was never posted.
07/06: my items still have not shipped and they are no longer answering the phone..."
"I just received a custom sized cradle mattress and mattress pad cover for a custom walnut cradle. Boy were we ever surprised to see the shabby quality of the foam and the very thin vinyl covering stitched sloppily around the foam. My dog's foam mattresses are of much better quality at a fraction of the cost. Same went for the custom cover--a thin woven material to say the least--very cheap. $40 for a $5 piece of foam at $30 for a extremely cheaply made and cheap material mattress cover? Further, both items absolutely did not look like the photos shown on their website of the items I was expecting to get. I feel we were really taken advantage of. Buyer, beware--and steer clear of this rip off on line shopping site!!"

Purchased a 500$ pendant from them, after initial purchase there was further contact that they would deliver it on the date, but would require overnight shipping which they charged and extra 26$ for. During processing of the order they determined that they could actually save in shipping costs and were able to send it 2 day (extremely cheap shipping for high volume shops considering weight less than 1.0 lb and 1 state away). Contacted them via phone and unfortunately they would not adjust the shipping amount and claimed it as a handling fee and that overnight shipping would actually now cost more, never was a handling fee mentioned.
A couple $ is a couple $ and in this case it's now become less the issue for me and more about their irrational argument on the phone which was pathetic: "it will arrive on the date we promised".
It's easy for a company to look good when all their transactions go well, a good company stands out when they fix ones that don't."
