"Why pay for a used unit from a restaurant supply place ranging from $600 to $800 bucks without a warranty, when you can just buy a brand new unit with a great warranty and have no worries of it breakin down and free shipping on top of that.

"Ordered an item 17 days ago. sent an email and got no response. They charged my credit card the first day though. There should be a law that online companies should not be able to charge your credit card until the order gets sent out."

"Here is my horror story. I purchased a table base from ACityDiscount on 10/24/05. On the 26th, I was contacted and told that the item I purchased (clearly shown on website) was not available. The company offered to send me a larger table base (36"x36") instead of (33"x33"). I responded saying if it was the same cost, please ship me the larger table base. They said it would be the same cost. After a month (all of November) of no correspondence from the company, no shipment notification, tracking number. I contacted the seller several times (10+) and each time the company failed to provide me an adequate order status or response.

They repeated sent me one line emails saying "We are having a problem with our supplier." After a month and a half of delays, on 12/5/05 I requested that my order be cancelled and my credit card refunded. I received a response on 12/8/05 saying my order would be refunded "As soon as possible" by a staff member named "Pete". It is now 1/3/06 and I have not been refunded.

This is an absolute breakdown in customer service, this company is by far the worst online retailer I have ever dealt with. I have been patient, and curteous and have not received one piece of concrete evidence that I, the customer have been treated fairly in any way. This company should be banned from ever selling online again. An absolute tradgedy.
