"I need help. Ordered a break and rotor kit from AM Autoparts and they sent me the wrong front rotors. I have tried getting ahold of them since the beginning of September to resolve this issue and they replied back once and that was it. Does anyone who has had this issue know what to do about it? How to go about giving them back the wrong size part for the right one?"
"Do a thorough research on the parts you are ordering. Unfortunately, the write up on ebay did not match the product. Be prepared to pay for return shipping of the wrong items."
"AM Autoparts is the best online parts store!!! I had and issue with my part, called their number and they do not have a call center but the email was answered in mins! Very good to respond all issues resolved within 20 mins. I would reccommend this company to anybody and will use them again when i can allow shipping time to get a part."
"they sell auto parts on ebay and on am-autoparts.com. listed ac condenser fan they said was compatible with 92 prelude si. The part did not fit, I sent photos, measurements, honda part number showing it was not correct, They refused refund of price and return shipping. They prey on seniors and women by acting and making really stupid statements. I sent photo of their part and my old part side by side, The 2 parts did not resemble, am-autoparts said the pix were of front and back of their part. Amazing fraud."
"I needed a replacement driver's side mirror for my 2004 Toyota Corolla (darn narrow Bronx side streets) and AM Autoparts had the lowest price by far. The part arrived in three business days with no sales tax or shipping fees and works perfectly. I even emailed customer service as I had to have the shipping destination changed, and was answered promptly and courteously."
"After getting a quote for over $200 for an ignition coil, I searched the web to look for a cheaper price. AM had the cheapest price by far so I ordered it. I didn't think to look at reviews until after ordering. I'm happy to report that my experience was nothing but great, thankfully. I received the part within 3 business days and my car runs like new. I will always check them out first from now on."
"Bought a window regulator for my 2000 Mitsubishi Galant. Worked great. Was easily the cheapest place online to buy the part, compared over 20 retailers and called a few local junk yards. Shipping was slow, but also free, so I couldn't complain. "
"I've bought an ignition coil pack for my VW from these guys, and couldn't be happier with the purchase! The part came within a week, looking exactly like the OEM that I was replacing, and worked beautifully out of the box. And on top of that, I only paid $34.15 instead of $134.99 at O'Reilly's. How sweet is that?
Thanks guys! Looking forward to buying from you again!"
"I ordered parts for a Chevy and VW at the same time. The parts were not the same quality as the parts I had to use to replace the crap I got from AM Autoparts. I'm now out 200.00 and my time which I will never get back. I would never order anything from AM Autoparts. Buyer beware!"
"Super hassle. Nine emails to explain to 4 different people why the item description was incorrect. And no phone number! If it were a call that was transferred four times, that would've been aggravating enough. But this was through email, so it dragged on for days and took much more time. Lesson learned: read the reviews and check for a phone number first."
"If you are buying a part from AM Autoparts online or on ebay for a third generation pontiac firebird or chevrolet camaro, whether seat belts, steering wheels, hood liner insulation, buyer beware. They sell incorrect and bad parts and if beyond 60 days (as can happen with restoration projects), you can go fly a kite. Typical passive aggressive, nasty MA, Massachusetts business. Should have looked before ordering. Not recommended for factory or OEM or restoration parts for autos especially for pontiac firebird or chevrolet camaro."
"We are very surprised at the negative feedback left for AM-Autoparts. Our business has purchased parts from this store on multiple occasions. We have always received the correct part, the price has always been reasonable, and the parts always arrive within the time frame promised. - This business will most definitely order from them in the future."
"I placed an order for a muffler. The bundle comes with a muffler, a spring bolt kit, and a gasket. When the UPS guy came to my door he waited for somebody to open the door. I thouht it was kinda weird cuz these guys usually knock once and leave the package by the door. I open the door and figured out why. The box was all ripped up so the delivery guy asked me if I wanted to check the contents to see if anything was missing. And sure enough the gasket was missing. He told me I can refuse the package and they can send it back. Or accept it and UPS will have nothing to do with it. So I refused the package. I immediately e-mailed AM Auto Parts and 2 days later no response yet. I'm gonna file a complaint with Paypal if they don't respond. I'll change my review if they take action."
"Co. based company, shipped me a part from Ma. and charged me Az sales tax. Didn't show sales tax on the checkout page until after the final price. Not happy."
"OH boy, let me tell you. ordered a window regulator for a 2000 sonata. they sent it to me and it was the wrong one, so i sent it back waited another week and a half to see that they sent the they sent the wrong again! lol I would not do buisness with them. their customer service was terrible. no phone number to call. i thought i was saving money, but definatley wasted my time. Do some research pay the extra 50 bucks for the part from the dealer, you will get the right one the first time in less then 3 days."
