"My last order took forever to get. I emailed and they called me back to say it was shipping that day. Waited a week and nothing. It took about 8 weeks altogether. My buddy ordered and got his right away. I asked them why and they had no answer. I ordered 2 plate carriers this time and it’s been 10 days and I haven’t got a shipping email, so I guess here we go again."
“Thank you for your review. We do see that the last order you placed has a stated two week lead time. With processing time, we are still within that timeframe and are working overtime to get every order out in a timely fashion. We do not see the previous order you mention where you stated it took 8 weeks. We do see one that took 4 weeks placed back in April which should have shipped in 7-10 business days per our normal processing time and we are not sure what that delay was due to the time that has passed since since then. The only speculative reason we can give now was that it was due to a supply chain issue where we were expecting the raw materials in a certain timeframe which were delayed from our supplier and therefore pushed the order to go beyond when it was due. The other order you placed shipped in 6 days. We do appreciate your return business and your current order is in our highest priority status to ensure it ships ASAP. To help give more context on why some orders do go over their lead times, we are the largest direct to consumer body armor manufacturer in the world. We manufacture almost every armor panel to order to ensure that our customers get a newly manufactured panel. We never cut corners or sacrifice our manufacturing processes as it is a life-saving product. These days, we are extremely dependent on our suppliers to keep up on their lead time promises so we can keep ours. Regrettably, sometimes they go over which affects us, and ultimately affects our customers. We are often having to implement overtime, as we are now, to get caught up on orders that are in our queue such as yours. We are also currently hiring in our Production, Distribution, and Customer Service departments so that we can keep up with the current demand due to the current political climate. We hope this gives some insight into our operations and the reasons why sometimes orders are delayed or go over their lead time. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and support as we work tirelessly to produce and ship out all orders in our queue.
