"The product ATI PCI Express X1600 Came with a Manufacturer Rebate. I sent all the required information 6 times. I talked with the rebate center 6 times. The said that the correct information was not recieved. I kept sending the same information. Finally i gave up. On the same day, 4 months later,I recieved a card stating that my rebate was in error and would not be processed; in a seperate mailing a check with my rebate. Very strange. I will never do business with ATI again. Rebates are horrible to deal with."
"I purchased an ATI HDTV Wonder card due to a rebate offer. ATI-webrebates.com lost my rebate documents so I resubmitted them. Then they claimed that I had purchased from a non participating vendor (which is not true). At that point they informed me that they were no longer processing this offer and refused to honor my rebate. Outright fraud. Shame on you!!!"
"I had to buy a $3 part to connect my Power Supply to an ATi Radeon X800 256MB card. $12.99 on this site, tack on another $6 to ship it. It got here, but it was way overpriced. I would've bought the $3 part elsewhere, but there were reviews saying the fool companies failed to shape the holes right for some of the cards so I couldn't take the chance."
"I purchased a refurb x800xl for my ageing AGP system since they had a great price. It shipped out promptly and got here just fine. However, I determined it was DOA after testing it for a bit. I called the customer service and was sent a shipping label and an RMA number later that night.
I was going to be out of town for the next week so I asked them to delay shipment for the replacement so that I'd be here when it arrived. The card got there promptly and the new order was placed. They sent out the replacement the day I had asked them to. The new card got here and has worked perfectly.
Overall, it was a good ordering experience especially considering the RMA.
I asked them to delay shipment "
"Placed an order for a backordered refurb X800XT PE AGP. Approximately one month later it was in stock and shipped promptly. Received in perfect working condition with all accessories."
"I have been trying to find out about my card for about a month now. Purchased a X600 and about a week and a half later the card was dead. Sent back for warranty July 19th and it was recieved by them on July 21st. Standard warranty return time is 10 buisiness days (on there website)it has been about a months worth of buisiness days now.

8/13/2005 My RMA CSC272605 has been at the facility for 16 buisiness days now, not including the delivery date. Is there a problem or unusual circumstance? I am just quite worried as I have been without a video card now for almost a month now.
RMA Status Inquiry
Received Date: 7/21/2005
Ship Date: Not Available
7/19/2005 Dear Charles,
Here is the RMA number you have requested:
RMA Number :CSC272605
7/19/2005 I have attempted to recieve a RMA number for my card. I have owned this card for about a week and a half and it has worked fine for the first week then while using the system the card just went out. Rebooted and the Bios does not detect the card."
"ATI refused my rebate on trade-up program, and kept my trade-up. All rules were followed. They will utilized their loopholes without concern for customer satisfaction. "
"I ordered a x800xt platinum edition from here since it was only $500. I intialy ordered it september 13th. It was out of stock, so i e-mailed asking when it would be in stock, they told me the LATEST date would be nov15h. But sometime in early nov, i found a coupon code, cancled my order, and reorderd with 10% off. An amazing deal, x800xt pe for $450. Nov 1th finaly rolls around... and NOTHING. I e-mail ask where it is at, they now tell me it will be here december 20th, today is december 20th, still not back. I cancled the order. LYING to your customers about when your product will be available is insanely irritating!"
"Sent my 9700Pro to ATI due to bad graphic card, DOA, it has been 30 days since ATI received my card, I have not received any email or phone calls from ATI, I made at least 30 calls to ATI and left at least 25 voice messages, no return call from ATI, phone bill jumped to $200.00 this month, never again I'm going to buy ATI products. Someone please email me the outcome...****@****.
Thanks"
"NEVER AGAIN! I loved my X800 XT PCIe card for the 48 hours that it worked. 4 weeks for an RMA and another bad card. ATI gets an "F" on their RMA and quality control process. 10 days to bench test a card? Terrible."
"Decided to buy an ATI 9800 pro from www.ati.com Their policy on their help page says that sales tax will only be charged in Texas. After filling out all my details, they DO charge sales tax on their final confirmation screen. Did not order the card out of principle. (thats why no invoice number)
Thought I gave ATI heads up on the conflicting policy. But they gave me an automated reply on the release of Halflife 2???????? Which was not even mentioned in my original email
"
"(Sorry, no invoice number. I took it back!)
We bought an ATI X800pro Graphics card, installed it and it was DOA. Turns out that other people had this problem (from the ATI FAQ). We e-mailed them to see if there was a solution and all we got back was a auto-reply with the standard solutions and a link pointing us to the FAQ. I e-mailed back, saying that we followed the instructions, but it was still dead. No reply. I e-mailed back again telling them that we were switching to NVIDIA, still no reply.
Not impressive."
"I will never buy anything "built by ATI" again. The cheap cooling fan on my All-in-Wonder Radeon 9700 went bad, so I submitted an RMA in the hopes someone would actually read my request for them to just ship me a fan, since otherwise the card was perfect and I didn't want it replaced. The website gives you no other options to contact ATI other than a long distance number. If there had been an email or something available, I may have had service, but from ATI I doubt it. Anyway, I never got a fan, and eventually had to buy a replacement. When I installed the replacement, the cheap plastic mounts holding the heatsink to the processor broke (since the replacement wasn't the exact same fan, which then broke the thermal seal. After I repaired the seal and put it back together, the video looked like a bad Nintendo cartridge. I've had plenty of other problems with ATI during the time I've owned their equipment. My brother called their long distance number once and talked to a support person who kept interrupting him to try to tell him there was no problem with his card. The fact that there is no way to contact them outside a long distance number on top of the fact that one day they just dropped their offer of advanced RMA support just goes to show that they don't care one bit about consumers. Completely ignorant..."
"I will never buy nor recommend another ATI product again. I upgraded my system to a p4c800 motherboard in Jan and read in the manual that 9700pro video cards, models earlier than a certain number were unstable with the mb. So I contacted ati about it to see if they would replace mine with another one of a later model than indicated in the manual. I told them that there was nothing wrong with mine other than it was of the earlier model. They agreed to replace it with later one..well they sent another earlier model...i called and raised cain and asked them why they promised to send a later one and did not...i told them that if they had not agreed to replace it i had no prob, because asking would not hurt anything, but when they promised to do it I expected them to do it. When I raised cain, they assured me the mb manual was wrong and that the card was fine with it. Well, I have had it in now since I got it from ati in feb, and guess what? the video card crashes frequently and yes it is the video card because it freezes the system and all of a sudden blinks and it is 16 bit color at 400x600...and sometimes it crashes and there is just no picture on the screen at all..just goes blank, and then once rebooted XP comes up and says fatal error with the video card..so I will NEVER buy ATI again because they lied and they have shown their incompetence to me..."
"I bought a AIW 9600 Pro from Newegg.com because they are the best online reseller period. But I needed a VGA to HDTV connector for my TV. First of all ATI's website has barely any info on anything, I had to research the VGA to HDTV adapter through painstaking google searches. They didnt even have a picture of the product till I found some abstract link through a random google search. You cant telephone this company cause they give you a long distance #. They also charged $15 for shipping, thats a bit excessive for me. Overall I am not happy with ATI at all, their cards are good but you better pray that the one you get works fine out of the box."
