As a result, it looked pretty rough upon arrival with some gouges that were made during shipment. Fortunately, the unit was shipped in a factory sealed box and no damage was present to the inner box. "My experience with AV In Demand was very positive.

At first, I was a bit unsure about dealing with a company I hadn't heard of when spending over $1000 on my purchase. I sent AV In Demand an email asking about warranty coverage and they sent back an honest, accurate response very quickly stating I would need to get a 3rd party warrany to have coverage since Pioneer won't warranty their Elite products through the internet. No problem, I expected this, and honestly I'd rather go this route and save $700 instead of giving it to Best Buy and have them turn around and try to sell me their 3rd party warranty on top of the premium price (plus tax!) they expect me to pay.

This positive first encounter with AV In Demand, along with reading about all the other positive experiences people had with AV In Demand during their purchases, gave me confidence this was a good company to do business with. I'm really glad I made that choice to go with them.

From the quick response to my email, easy to use website, to the fast shipping with UPS, and the well packaged box (the receiver box was double boxed inside another box with padding), lets just say they exceeded all my expectations. The only thing left was to open up the box to the Pioneer Elite SC-25 and see how it looked. In one word, beautiful. My brand new receiver was looking gorgeous and after getting it connected to my home theater system, sounded awesome.

I would definately recommend purchasing from AV In Demand if they have the product you're looking for. Yes, some manufacturers are picky about where you buy their products from, but if you're ok with a 3rd party warranty (which they offer as well) you'll save yourself a lot of money and you won't have to deal with the big box store that really could care less about you.
