"I purchased a refurbished Brother MFC 8710DW all-in-one printer.
First, they shipped me a less expensive printer (8910DW).
The MFC 8910DW stopped (dead) no too long after purchase.
ABOUT 7 - 10 DAYS ELAPSED before I was provided a FedEx return label.
They totally ignored the SIGNIFICANT INCONVENIENCE of not having a printer/copier.
For this reason alone, I would stay away from A Matter of Fax.

Second, they shipped a DEFECTIVE (correct model) MFC 8710DW...
it jammed repeatedly the first day I used it.
When I asked for a pre-paid return shipping label, they provided
a UPS label -- WHICH DID NOT PAY FOR PICK UP.
(I actually hurt my back lifting the first return to put it on a table I have outside my front door.)
I don't know how this company is still in business...shipping defective product (twice)
delaying responding to return requests, and then refusing to pay for pick-up charges.
Frankly, the cost of a NEW Brother machine (I paid $325 for L5700DW) was just a little more than their Refurbished units. "
"Ordered a new late-model HP color printer, was charged for same and instead shipped a refurbished model that arrived poorly boxed and badly damaged--all of which was documented and images sent them immediately. The smashed printer is still sitting in my office and I am still trying to get them to issue a call tag and a credit. I ordered from this company on the advice of a price-conscious friend. Big mistake. I have now disputed the charge with AmEx and may be able to get the charges reversed."
"I ordered MFC-8910DW Refurbished printer. After several days of delay after several call were made they shipped MFC-8710DW instead of MFC-8910DW printer which was broke. Made Khat Khat sound when turned on. The print was fuzzy with printer spitting carbon on the print. They charged an extra $30 on my card for insurance which was not a part of my invoice before submitting the order.
The return policy says If you are not satisfied with your purchase you may return most items for an exchange or refund within thirty days of purchase excluding shipping, handling, insurance charges. A 17.9% restocking fee will also be applied. (Restocking fee does not apply to the return of defective items.)
All items returned are subject to our inspection and manager's approval. A Matter of FAX reserves the right to reject any return based on its condition or non compliance with our return policy, the return policy of our distributors or the return policy of the manufacturer. I was in need of black in for my HP printer, I found a good price with A Matter Of Fax, on google shop, I placed my order. When I received the ink, I was shocked to see it wasn't the one they advertised. I needed to print bad, so I kept the ink, that's not all...
First, the image they advertise is original ink from HP. The stuff they sent was refilled cartridges (not even from HP).
Second, all of the cartridges failed, not one worked!!!
A scam, a farce, a pathetic way to take money from people.
Do not buy from these people, and if you do, its a gamble.

"Our company purchased a Ricoh printer from A Matter of Fax along with a 3-year warranty.
Our printer is used by the majority of our office personnel here and when it is down it greatly affects our business. We have had it break down twice on us, the first time it took them over 2 weeks to fix the issue. Turns out it ended up being a minor issue and they still gave us a run around for 2 weeks.
This most recent time has been a week and a half and we do not have any timeline as to when they will fix it. They attempted to talk us into pro rating us our warranty instead of fixing the issue. It seems that they are doing whatever possible to pass the issue back onto us.
We have not been happy at all with the service and customer care we have received from them since the purchase of the printer. We would NOT recommend A Matter of Fax to anybody looking to purchase through them."
