"I ordered the Super Slocket II socket 370-to-slot 1 converter. The site claimed FC-PGA compatibility. What I received was a generic slocket that most certainly was not FC-PGA compatible. RMA'ing and returning it would have cost more than buying one from another retailer.
"Addendum":
If you look at my other reviews, you'll see that the recurring theme is low-price internet retailers frequently perform the ol' bait and switch. (The review referred to involved a retailer advertising a modem with a certain chipset, then sending me one with a different chipset. When I check compatibility and receive a product other than the one advertised, is that my fault?)
The fact remains that I ordered what was advertised as the "Super Slocket II" (even billed as the "Super Slocket III" in the title, see http://www.aaronix.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/126) and received a generic socket 370-to-slot 1 converter card. It was not an issue with the motherboard. For those of you who don't know what a slocket is, it is a converter that, with the right 440BX motherboard, allows you to install a socket 370 CPU (up to 533MHz PPGA, 1.1GHz FC-PGA, or 1.4GHz FC-PGA2 depending on the slocket) in a board that was made to take a Slot 1 SECC Pentium II/III. I have done this with half a dozen boards now, including a 1.1GHz Celeron in the one in question--once I bought a branded Super Slocket from another retailer.
Apparently not everyone's experience is similar to my own, and as another user said, it is indeed refreshing that Aaronix.com takes the time to reply to reviews, even consulting the order history and checking a poster's other reviews. However, replies should NOT include ad hominem attacks; let the facts do the talking."
"I have to say I've bought from Aaronix 5 different times now and I'm never unhappy.
The shipments always go out same day or next day, and they always ship via the method I paid for. THANK YOU!
It's amazing that other companies cant seem to get things right.
a LOT of the pricewatch sellers are on here with unanswered bad reviews out the wazzoo, but not Aaronix.
It's a refreshing change that they actually take the time to reply to their
unsatisfied reviews. That's what I consider service after the sale!
It's a real shame more companies dont treat their customers
like they do. A real shame.
Anyone that is in the market for cases, I always point them to Aaronix.
I sincerely hope they get filthy stinking rich so they'll always be
around for me to order from. :)
For you couple of people that are having trouble
with your order, two things:
1. Email them.
2. Dont place an order unless you want the item.
3. If you have a bad item, and it happens, all
these things are mass produced, email them
at least within the same MONTH to let them
know!

"Pretty decent company. Received my order. Happy with it, with one exception. Five minutes after my initial boot up, the power supply that came with the case I ordered blew, potentially damaging my motherboard. (I have yet to determine the cause of my hardware glitches.) I'm still using the case I received, which is indeed in beutifull condition and I bought another power supply from a retail store but it's impossible to get ahold of these people for an RMA. Are they always out to lunch? I have yet to receive a callback regarding the product. Otherwise, good service, but I'd be weary if something breaks."
"To all those who complained about this company's service....Gat a life. Every aspect of this order and it's subsequent delivery was first rate. I will definately use them for my computer needs again"
"I purchased two Powmax 1400 UPS units from Aaronix and received two poorly packed damaged non working units. Upon notification by E mail, I was not answered. Finally after another attempt I was given a big speal about policy and they never resolved the situation- the chargeds were disputed as I was not going to pay for garbage like this. They handled the situation poorly thus ending any chance of return business from me or anyone I advise. The invoice they sent was almost unreadable. I am not sure how they stay in business except to aggravate customers and try to make a profit off of them no matter what."
"Smooth transaction, A little miscommunication, will purchase again from aaronix"
"Fast,smooth transaction.E-mailed with tracking number.No problems."
"This company advertised the Ahanix® ICEberg Water Cooling System as compatible with a Socket 423. I bought it based on this information but found out later that this claim was false. I requested a full refund of product price and shipping, and was told that an exception of their refund policy would be made. After I returned it, they decided to change their mind; although they did refund the price of the item, they refused to refund any shipping cost.
I feel that my losses resulting directly from an error on the seller's website should be reimbursed (especially after they told me it would). I will not be shopping with this company again and I would not recommend it to anyone."
"I ordered a bunch of parts to build a system from a bunch of different vendors online. About $1200.00 worth of really nice stuff. I ordered the case and power supply from one company, Aaronix.com. It arrived with the power supply installed in the case. When I assembled the computer, the power supply fried about $570.00 worth of my components.
So I did some research. Turns out, after dismantling and closely inspecting the power supply (which was obviously warranted) I noticed that the manufacturer's warranty test seal was cut, meaning they sold me a used/refurbished piece at new cost. To add to this, they sent a totally different brand of power supply than I ordered in the first place, without consulting me about the trade-out.
So I e-mailed them about this problem, basically asking them what they were going to do about my damaged parts, and notifying them of the cut seal issue. They actually sent me an e-mail in return admitting that they had found about 7 more power supplies that had the stickers cut, trying to convince me that they had no idea they were selling refurbished pieces. The customer service rep offered to refund my money for the power supply, but avoided my question about the other parts. When I finally talked to the owner about compensation for my damaged stuff, he pretty much told me to contact the manufacturer about the problem and hung up on me. Extremely rude.
BUYER BEWARE! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! MUCH BETTER SERVICE FROM OTHER MORE REPUTABLE VENDORS ONLINE. WISH I WOULD HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THIS WEBSITE EARLIER, WOULD HAVE NEVER BOUGHT FROM AARONIX.COM."
"Grate customer support! They care about you, not about your money. Very professional technical advises. Responsive and nice people. Timely notifications about charges and delivery."
"Today received rack-mount server from AARONIX.
Shipping was on time, hastle-free, price was great in comparison with competitors.
Will definately order more servers from them.
It's not my first order with this guys, never ever had any problems or complains."
"I see that this site has cropped up! No surprise. This is a "DBA", or doing business as schtick. The parent company's name is Pacific Memory Group, Inc. and their OTHER review site is here - http://www.resellerratings.com/seller1598.html
Pesonally, I think this site is just stacked with ringers!"
"Great company! The price and shipping were both very good.Great job!
I reccommend them to everyone."
"I purchased some rackmount 1U servers from aaronix.com. First let me applaud their customer support people. I was contacted about my order because I forgot something on my order. Their customer support called to verify whether I intentionally left this item out. I did.
The product was shipped on time and was received in perfect condition. I have been running these servers now for about a month now 24/7 and they have run absolutely without a problem. Hats of and kudos to the team at aaronix.com"
"These guys are great.Great prices and fast shipping.
I am happy and will order from them again."
