"I ordered a Sony BRAVIA XBR A1E Series XBR 55A1E 55" OLED Smart TV 4K UHD (Order #: AB1228227) on 4/6/2018 from Abe's of Maine. Went through the on-line order process with no trouble...name, address, credit card #...with my zip code they indicated "free shipping" and no tax. I live in California. A couple days later I get a call from Jeff Stevens of the AbesofMaine team. He indicates that shipping to California is a problem and that additional costs will be required to cover "handling and insurance" to the tune of over $400. I declined and had the order cancelled. The problems is that their own web site policies dictate that all fees, charges and costs will be indicated up front at the time of web site order before the order is completed (based upon zip code). An honest business does not "bait" customers with low on-line prices and then try and "switch" with additional nebulous costs later. Not the way to do business and keep customers coming back."

I love me some Ribeye but when you show a D750 for $1339 and then they call you and say that’s the Korean model do you want the US retail model and by the way it cost $250 more it kinda ****. The price still beats anyone out there but I felt a little bit deceived. Either way I received it and the camera is great but again it came in a kit box that says it has a lens but I only bought the body. Which leads me to believe they are breaking the kits up to sell the lens separately. Hard to do business with a company that makes me feel like I was played. Great price, speedy delivery, good camera but still... working on wrapping my head around the other stuff."
