I ordered Sunday night, it was at my door by Thursday, and I live across the country from their hq..
Plus they use UPS.
OF ALL shipping companies, UPS remains the only one I've never had cause by blood to boil.
FedEx has a 2 for 2 track record of getting my order ping ponged all over my local area, instead of delivering it on time. And that's the best case scenario. My first order shipped through them, they delivered it late, and to the wrong address in my big neighborhood, on a Friday.
Then upon realizing I wasn't lying, after they treated me as such (arguing that their tracking info saying it was delivered, couldn't possibly be wrong), they then informed me that it would be the beginning of the next week, that the driver would be sent out to the house he delivered it to, to attempt to get it back and bring it to me, or "you can always go knocking yourself", to which I told them there was no way I was knocking on over 60 homes' doors, until I found the right one.. Luckily the person it went to, was honest and kind, bringing it over that evening.. I hate FedEx.
So yes, Able's Ammo will see my business again, and I'd recommend them to friends, and family."

This gun doesn't look like any modern colt gun as far as quality. The upper and lower receiver are grossly mismatched as far as color.
I have two others colt ar's the 6920 I bought from you on order xxxxxx and a Colt Socom 2 years ago. Also have a modern Colt 1911 XSE. I don't know why it was approved for shipment by Able's. This gun's obsviously been looked at and manipulated in a retail environment or returned by previous customer. I believe they shipped it out to online customer to dump it on a dupe like me.
The gun was missing the safety breach block(orange) and has markings on rail like a scope had been been fitted on it.

"I was looking for 223 ammo and found a great deal on AbleAmmo.com. I placed my order and got a Confirmation that my order had been processed. I get an e-mail about an hour or two later with an order update "Your order has been updated to the following status: Canceled" "Unfortunately we are currently sold out of this product and are unable to back order it for you". When I placed the order the site showed as in stock. When I place an order on-line I need to know I can trust the site I'm doing business with. Now I know I can NOT trust Able Ammo and will not shop there again."
"I purchased around $1500 worth of ammunition online from Able's. I recieved an email requesting I call to verify my information (understandable for this large of an order). After calling, I recieved an email stating that the information was verified, this is where things started going wrong.
I waited a week for my ammo, but still no shipping confirmation, so I called. Mind you, my credit card had been charged the full ammount even though no product was shipped. I was assured that the items were about to ship out. I waited 10 more days before calling again and got the same answer, so I requested to cancel my order. The employee argued some, but then agreed to cancel the order and even sent an email confirming the cancellation. A week later the credit card was not credited, so I called. The employee seemed very confused and stated that she remembers having issued the credit, then corrected that she had just done it yesterday (well after the cancelation). I checked the card two days after that conversationa nd still no credit!
Beware of this company! When I went to write reviews about this experience I saw all of the negative ones that other people had written. I should have done that internet search first! "
"I bought a Benelli M4 semi-auto shotgun from Able and am overall pleased with the transaction. At this time, this shotgun is difficult to find new. I wish the shipping could be faster and they do not immediately charge your credit card even though they do not have the item in stock.
Pros:
* Customer service was accurate with their estimate when the shotgun would arrive to them from the manufacturer and promised to send it out right away once they got it
* The gun arrived brand new still in the plastic wrap, undamaged, and worked with no malfunctions when I tested it later
Cons:
* The website listed the gun in stock, but it should say there would be a two week wait
* They charge your credit card immediately
By the way, they also have great prices on ammo and other items. At the moment, they sell 12 gauge Federal Premium F12700 buckshot ammo for $3.49 for 5 rounds--the cheapest self defense/hunting ammo I've found online. So, I've bought 30 boxes from them and this transaction was, of course, faster than buying my gun."
"Ordered a CZ Kadet kit on 5/28. Accepted my order and took credit card info (about $450). I received a detailed order acknowledgement right away.
The Kadets are very scarce and you have to act quickly. I had another one available as I was filling out the purchase on this site. Gone now, of course.

Utterly unacceptable way to do business. Sold is sold. If you have not got it; don't sell it.
