"Ordered a 65" TV. When it got to Pensacola, Florida, the courier had a "theft" and I didn't get my TV. (My suspicions of shenanigans are beside the point) When I contacted Abt, they arranged for a replacement to go out that day with expedited shipping, no questions asked. To make it even better, they price-matched themselves and refunded me $100. This is an outstanding company who obviously cares about their customers. I'll definitely be ordering from them again."
"I moved from Chicago suburbs to Florida. Five years ago, I had excellent experience with abt. So it was logical to try them again, but the experience is far different. Happy with purchase price, but delivery is a joke. I knew support was not going to be the same, but I figured they could deliver. After four days, I emailed abt.....sales manager Tim indicated the unit had been picked up by the shipping company the day after I ordered.......called the shipping company after six days, and they said they picked up four days after ordering. It was scheduled for a one week delivery. As of today, it's sitting in Chicago somewhere, and will not arrive on time. Shipping company could only tell me i'm not getting it on time, and nothing else. I mean, it's a TV, I can dela with a delay, but it's not the same seriously responsive abt I knew before."

After purchasing all our kitchen appliances from them, I purchased a Danby wine cooler, and they refused to honor the warranty 3 days after it expired.
Then I purchased a dishwasher and microwave, and 30 minutes after our two hour delivery window, when I took the afternoon off with no pay, I called to see where they were, and the customer service rep told me they were "running late" with no real apology.

"I ordered a dishwasher and after several days received an email giving tracking information through their website. Yesterday (Thurs) the tracking info indicated my shipment was in an office 60 miles from me with estimated delivery Monday by 5PM. Today I get a call to set up an appointment for delivery... from a completely different outfit indicating that the package was in a completely different state and city, with delivery for Tuesday sometime.
They'll never get a decent rating from me by feeding bogus information when it's so simple to tell the facts. I'm tempted to cancel the order/refuse the shipment."
"I bought a washer and dryer from Abt and bought the 4 year extended warranty on both items. My dryer has since broke. I called Abt and they stated nobody would come out to even look at the dryer for one full week. The store manager was contacted who sent a repair man out the same day. The repair man then stated the parts would take two business days to get. I am now going on day seven of my dryer being broke and Abt not having it fixed. A service repair man was scheduled to come out with the new parts six days after my dryer broke. On the day the repair man was to come to my house to fix my dryer Abt contacted me and stated he called in sick. Does Abt have only one repair man? I cannot recommend buying anything from Abt and I cannot recommend buying and type of extended warranty from Abt unless you have more than a week to wait for your appliance to get fixed. I have now spent over $100.00 doing my laundry at the laundry mat and have wasted my time and money because Abt cannot get my washer fixed. Seven days and counting in an unreasonable time to fix any appliance. This experience has been nothing but aggravation and a disappointment. A company as large as Abt should not treat their customers like this."
"Purchased a new stove for Mom and wanted it to be a surprise. Asked the salesperson to have the delivery guys call me 1/2 hour prior to delivery so I could have my brother take my mom to the store to shop so she would not be there when they arrived. The two gentlemen that delivered the stove called as agreed and came in removed the old stove, cleaned out the area and installed the new stove. It was seamless. Mom was surprised and loved her new beautiful stove. Not only did I get the best price, they also gave me free delivery and hauled the old stove away. The two professional installers went above and beyond the call of duty. I have been doing business with Abt for the last 18 years and they only get better. Keep up the great work."

"It's very clear that you don't care about your customers as long as you get your money. Over 3 weeks is an unacceptable amount of time for a delivery that was promised to take ~5 days. Blaming your shipping carrier for the issue does not justify the inconvenience. Likewise, a $50 credit to your store is a very poor attempt at an apology.
I understand the shipping issue was outside of your control. However, the way you handled the situation was not. You failed to gain my trust as a customer or to make me believe anything you have posted all over your site about customer service.
As a company you should be ashamed of yourselves! "
