"The usual story with these guys apparently - placed an order, they charged my card, 10 days later I called them because it hadn't shipped, they said its backordered (website still says its available), they said I was sent an email about the cancellation but I wasn't. On the plus side, they did credit my card the full ammount - what nice scammers these guys are. I just wish I had checked the reviews before I ordered."

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE LIARS!! Ordered Sony camcorder 6/10. Charged to credit card 6/11. 7/18 "being shipped tomorrow" 7/30 "no longer available. Substituting another model. 8/12 "shipping it next week". Checked w/ Sony. Model not available until 9/3. Call to AcersClub on 8/16 "Shipping it to you next week" (even tho manufacturer says no one will have it before 9/3. I understand delays when models change, but being lied to repeatedly is unfotgiveable."

"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS VENDOR! This experience was the worst I've ever had. They billed my credit card the day after I ordered it, and over a month later, it still hasn't shipped. I have called the vendor again and again, and each time they would tell lead me on, stating that it would ship early next week, or after I'd gotten that story a few times, they said it'd be shipping in the next 2 days. This has gone on, and on, and on. After this had gone on for almost a month, they told me that this camera is very hard to get (I've been "number two" on their list for several weeks now). Today, they told me that they think Olympus no longer manufactures this camera (the C-765UZ), which is (at best) totally wrong.

These guys do try to sell you overpriced accessories (as was mentioned in an earlier rating). I even had one of their salepeople call me (since I didn't add any of those items to my online order) and try to get me to add it over the phone!

STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS! I expect they will be reopening under another online name/web site sometime in the future since so many of us are complaining about them now.

"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here is my theory of what they do:

They post the lowest price for the camcorder I was looking for. Their price was lower than anywhere else by $100.
When you call to ask if they have the item in stock they say YES!
Short after you place the order the charge the credit card.
Then they call you to try to sell you overpriced accessories to make up for the low price of the original item that you purchased.
After you decline to buy any accessory they put your order on the eternal backorder pile, they inform u=you that your product is in backorder after a week. Note that no other vendor that I search for had my item on backorder.
After a few calls they actually informed you that the item is in backorder for at least two to three weeks.
At that time I cancelled the order and was informed that I was getting a refund to my credit card in the next few days.
After a few calls where they give you a different story every-time (your refund was issue a week ago. Your refund will be issue today, etc...) I actually got an email confirming my refund after I threaten them with reporting them. I hope I will see the refund shortly in my credit card, but as you can imagine I am not very hopeful!

In conclusion save yourself a few weeks of aggravation. I purchased the item from another vendor for $100 more but I actually received the camcorder two days after I placed the order.

"Definitely unpleasant experience. They are awful and full of a lie. If your time and tons of patient are worth just a couple of bucks, then do deal with them. They gonna suck you.

Day 0: double checked the item availability on the phone. They said they have it. so I ordered.

Day 1: They called me early morning around 8AM and pushed me to busy very expensive accessaries. Of cause I refused that.

Day 3: Havn't heard anything from them, so called them. They said the item will be shipped next Monday. Asked them send me email when item shipped.

Day 6: Called them to check the shipping. They said they will ship the item tomorrow. asked email again.

Day 8: No email. Called them. They said the item was shipped yesterday. Asked give me shipping information again.

Day 13: No email, No demivery. Called them. They said the item will be delivered tomorrow.

Day 15 (Wed.): No delivery. Called them. They said my order was BACK ORDERED! and will shipped next Monday by Fedex, so I can get the item by next Wedneday. What the heck! I asked to cancel my order, then They said they will ship the item tomorrow. I asked to cancle the order agian. They cancled the order. Few minutes later I called again and check my order status. The order was canceled finally.

Every time when I called them it took almost 10 minutes to got answer. Sometimes never got answer the call.

"DO NOT USE THIS MERCHANT!!! THEY HAD A GOOD PRICE ON A NEW OLYMPUS C-765 CAMERA AND ASSURED ME IT WAS IN STOCK AND WOULD BE SHIPPED THE NEXT DAY. 1 WEEK LATER I BEGAN CALLING THEM ASKING WHERE THE CAMERA WAS. THEY THEN INFORMED ME THAT THEY WOULD GET IT SHIPPED RIGHT OUT. "I ordered a palmcorder on Friday June 18, 2004. On Saturday June 19th, they reduced the price by $9. On Sunday June 20, "Sal" called me to confirm my order and upsell me additional items. Since AcesClub had not yet processed my order, I asked him if he would reduce my cost by their $9 reduction. He assured me he would. On June 23, the full charge including the $9 showed up on my credit card by a company called PriceItForLess. I sent a detailed email to their sales department and never heard back. Several days later I telephoned, and hung up after 20 minutes on hold. My camcorder did arrive in factory new condition but I think they should have honored the $9 reduction. I will not recommend them nor use them again."

"This company is horrendous! I bought from them because they had a good reviews on resellers.com and good prices. Maybe those reviews were fake, because my experience with this company is the worst I have ever had buying electronics. I ordered a camera online on December 9, 2003. Later that day, I received a phone call from a sales representative that pressured me to buy accessories. I let him tell me about them to see if I was interested, but in the end I told that I just wanted the camera. He kept trying to persuade me, but I continued to say no. Suddenly, he hung up the phone. After that, I never received a shipping confirmation and never received the product. I have e-mailed and phoned them about twenty times in total, but I never get a response. After two months, I still don't have my camera! One other thing to look out for: the restocking fee if you cancel!"

"These guys are shaddy!!! Ordered a camcorder on Dec 5th and should have recieved the "IN STOCK" item with in 10 days. About 8 days into the order I check there web site to find out it still had not shipped. I got concerned and call there 800 number and I complained to a manager, he said I would have it in 2 days. (right)

Four weeks later still no camacorder....

For the last two weeks I have called them about every day with no answer to there ***-***-**** number. (Number is on there web page)

They tried to up sell me on addition high margin items and overnight shipping. I guess if you don't purchase these things they just walk away from your order. (not sure if there still in business, but as of 1/6/2004 I'm sure they have not answered my calls!!)

"The price was too good to pass up, so I ordered an Olympus C-5060 camera. They called me back and “confirmed” my order (yea, I got the strong-arm sales pitch too). I asked if the unit was in stock when I “confirmed” the order and was told it would ship the next day; I wanted to be sure I got the camera in time for Christmas. A week later I became nervous about my order, since the web site was still showing it as “verified” but not shipped. I emailed “customer service” asking about when the order would ship, and also asked for a UPS tracking number, since I had selected UPS Ground shipping (for $18.99). I received an email back from “Mike Wallace” in “customer service” that said (and I quote): “ ONE WEEK”

Yup, that was it – a single line that said “ ONE WEEK” all in caps. I sent back a friendly email saying “Thanks for your quick response, but help me out – does that mean you will ship it in a week, or that I will receive it in a week? And if you have already shipped it, can I get the tracking number?” I got back an email that said “YOU WILL HAVE IT IN ONE WEEK”

I waited a few more days, and still the web site showed my order as “verified” status. I got nervous again and sent another email asking them to give me specific information about when the order shipped and what the tracking number was. I got another email back from Mr. Wallace about an hour later:

“Order cancelled

Thank You Very Much
Mike Wallace
Customer Service”

Apparently, if you don’t buy their accessories, they have no intention of shipping the product. They certainly had no trouble charging my credit card for $658.00 the same day I placed the order, which is odd, since my “invoice” from them shows a total of $559.99

I called AMEX and cancelled the charges. These guys are shady at best - apparently if you don’t order high-priced goodies, they will cancel your order or tell you that there is a massive backorder. DON’T Waste your time. For $60 more than the fake price quoted by these jokers I bought the camera from Amazon.com and had it in my hands in three days.

"After I placed an order yesterday, today they called me back but the sales reps was talking to my mom. The guy told my mom that the order will not be placed until i confirm it. So i called back, just for them to sell me some extra battery. I told them i already got another battery from someone else before i order the camera. THe guy sounded really rude and asking me all these questions about why i ordered it somewhere else. I told him because the price was much lower. After that the guy just hanged up the phone. No sales rep ever do this to me. I called back and i asked them to confirm my order. I talk to a different rep now and he said the order is being process and will ship out today. But there wont be any confirmation or tracking number after the order is ship. I would have to wait til the package arrive at my door. I think there's something fishy about this place since rarely any online reseller fail to provide you with confirmation or tracking number for the order. "

"I called the day before to check and see if they had the product in stock. They said yes. Therefore, I placed an order for a Sony vx2100 the next day. Knowing that I might get a rude sales person, I called ext. 412 to speak to Tom. Tom sounded pretty rude to begin with and when I asked if he could confirm my order, he transferred me to a sales rep. This sales rep kept trying to push some accessories on me even though I did not want them. He kept going on about these accessories even though I said no and when I interupted him again to say no, he kept talking over me. When I finally said I was not interested, he immediately tells me the camcorder is backed ordered and that 2nd day air will not be availble for this product. I will get it in 3 weeks. I asked him why isn't 2nd day available when you have the option to choose it before you purchase it on the site. He just repeated 2nd day air is not available. After this, it sounded like he just wanted to get me off of the phone as soon as possible. I will probably not buy from them again. I will also tell all of my friends about these guys and hopefully all of their friends will know about them too. Now I feel kind of sketchy about the purchase."
