"I ordered an umbrella lightstand complete kit (with clamps and mounts), which I need for that Saturday, and which qualified for free expedited delivery. The website clearly stated they were closed for the Sukkos holiday and would not ship until Wednesday, but the product showed it would still easily arrive by Friday. On Thursday I receive the UPS package with lightstands and umbrellas, but no mounts and no clamps. I called Adorama right away and the rep said those parts were shipped separately by USPS and would arrive between Friday and Monday. As of this morning, (it is now Friday), according to the USPS website, the product has not even been shipped. Only the mailing label has been created.
Nowhere on the website, product description, order confirmation page, or e-mail confirmation was there ANY mention that this "Kit" would not actually ship together as a kit. I am not sure what part of selling something as a "Kit" Adorama does not seem to understand.
There was also no effort by the customer service rep to make this right, perhaps by overnighting the missing parts so they are here Friday, or at the very least first thing Saturday. Instead, she repeatedly tried to explain to me how Monday was a holiday, and why she thought maybe the other parts were shipped separately, or a whole bunch of other stuff that really did not make any difference to me.
I only give this 2 stars because the product that was delivered was delivered in a timely manner, appears to be a good product and a good price. Just, unfortunately, useless to me now as I am going to have to drive out and get what I need in person anyway in order to have it when Adorama promised I would already have it. "

"I have been using Adorama for 2 yrs to order my photography classroom supplies. I have spent thousands with this company. I order my supplies before school started in the beginning of Aug and still in Oct I do not have either of my 2 orders. We have called and emailed with empty promises that it will be sent out for delivery and still has not even shipped yet. I will be ordering my students supplies elsewhere from now on. Ridiculous I need these supplies to teach. "
