Aegis went above and beyond in delivering my NAS, I ordered a QNAP TS-639 PRO on Thursday at 4:45pm EST; I received a call in Five minutes letting me know they would try to make the delivery as soon as possible, but was not sure if they could complete the set up in time for overnight shipment on Monday as I requested. As I gave such short notice I was more than happy to hear this of course. I received a call the next day indicating that it didn’t finish the initial build of the array, but they would hand deliver it to me on Sunday! Let me tell you I was more than impressed. Found at readynas forums post about ReadyNAS PRO diskless....store was eaegis.com. Not great navigation store but PRO diskless was in stocks. Email to check if in stock really. Same day answer. "l have done a lot of shopping online, and most recently had the pleasure of looking for a NAS system. Having read product reviews and tried to decipher good from bad, it became very difficult. I phoned a few of the renowned resellers for both QNAP and NETGEAR, they were not really forthcoming, very lack luster and ambiguous, not detailing which drives or in many cases not providing advice by telephone. It seems there are a lot of shady dealers put there. Having then done research on dealers, l eventually came across eaegis. They treated me as though l was buying for a million dollar organization and the people where very knowledgeable. "Purchased a QNAP TS-509 as a Holiday gift from eaegis.com for both data storage and surveillance needs and had a few questions both pre and post order.

Had minor reservations initially and was tentative as the price seemed rather "too competetive" for good service and turnaround times but was overall very impressed with knowledge, expertise and service from their staff.

Upon contacting them a number of times via phone and e-mail pre and post order, I sensed that the company was deluged with customer orders, e-mails and phone calls and appeared short staffed and stretched but they responded ably and patiently to my questions on alternatives and different configurations.

One of the staff indicated that they were balancing customer needs and staff holiday time off needs by working late evenings and weekends whenever necessary to ensure orders were processed as expeditiously as possible. It's comforting to know that some companies still let their staff "come up for air."

Based on my buying experience and interactions with their staff I would recommend them in a heart beat. "

"Not impressed! First the product I purchased was adertised as in stock when it wasn't. After sending email to eaegis.com I started getting non delivery bounce messages. When I called I asked why my credit card was charged when the unit was not even in stock. I did not receive a response or promised call back. After over a week I still do not have a shipdate for the significant charges applied to my card nor have I recieved a call back or follow up from eAegis."

"Bought a Drobo from John at eAegis after a long and helpful conversation in which we found it to be the best and most reasonably priced solution for my application as a photographer. He also had a killer deal on the hard drives. They put NewEgg to shame in both price and level of service... and I have been using NewEgg for a long time. "OK, so being ever the skeptic, I wasn't sure about whether or not the ratings here were real orders, but I have to say, the SAME day I ordered an N5200 NAS from the "infamous" John at eAegis, I got the shipping notice and the tracking number.... and then, supposedly the FedEx shipment was coming on a Monday, instead, it came 3 days ahead of that.

The package arrived FAST, SAFE and everthing worked as advertised... eAegis had even already upgraded the NAS to the latest software version so I didn't have too.
