"They are great stools and they are very reasonable priced. I bought 4 of them and they were delivered a bit early. They were well packaged and are solid, look great and are comfortable. The only issue I had was putting them together. The back comes as one piece. the two bars that go from front to back I believe have a top and bottom that isn't explained in the instructions. The knob that fits in the wood it turned on one side and straight on the other. Take your time putting them in correctly. If they don't fit, don't force it and turn them. Otherwise, putting them together was easy."

"We had a space where we wanted a booth that was not a standard size. We looked for months and found Affordable Seating/Seating Masters. I had a few phone conversations with Sales office about size, about not doing a standard materials order, etc. They were very responsive each time, and we ordered.
This was to be a gift from a family member, and they were very helpful in making it happen so we got delivery thought someone else paid.
Granted, delivery took longer than we were hoping for; HOWEVER, each time we reached out to Sales, we received a response by the end of the day with an update.
It is a bit disconcerting that the $90 home delivery fee gets you the items lowered on a truck lift to your driveway, but not taken inside. Though I suspect that has more to do with the contracted delivery service than the furniture company.
It is also bit disconcerting that when items arrive, you have about 15 minutes to unwrap them, inspect them, and accept or deny delivery; however, ours were in perfect condition.
The assembly was exceptionally easy (and if I can do it, anyone can), and they look beautiful.
One note. The table top is one solid piece. I would have liked for 'starter holes' to have been drilled for the base. I realize the base comes from a different manufacturing plant; however, with precision tools available today, I would think the bottom of a table top can easily be marked where those holes would need to be drilled, and starter holes drilled.
The seemingly less-than-positive remarks aside, we could not be happier with our new kitchen booth and table."
"Love these stools. Had a problem putting them together until we figured out that we had the front legs swapped. I read other reviews about the rungs not lining up and I'm sure that was the problem. Once you swap the two front legs the stools fit together just fine."

"Dozens of emails, calls, and 6 months later, we have received less than half of the refund we were promised 5 months ago.
First of all, the chairs were no good. As a person who chose to purchase thousands of dollars worth of chairs, that upset me. Could I have purchased the chairs somewhere local where I had access to a physical test chair? Of course, but the cost of the chairs was very reasonable and I loved how they looked. Plus, they had assigned an account manager to me who promised they would work with me throughout the whole process.
But once the chairs arrived, they were clearly dysfunctional. They rocked dramatically when anyone sat on them. They weren't sturdy, and more importantly, they weren't safe.
So, I started the return process for the chairs, and my account manager was nowhere to be found. I ended up talking to a customer service person who said that I would need to email evidence,. I emailed them the video proof that their chairs were unsafe, along with pictures of the gaps between the wooden pieces that caused this issue. I should note we purchased a sizable number of chairs, so modifying them to function would not work.
That was August 15th.
On August 22nd, the vendor said it was a 'Defective Batch,' that they don't have replacements available, and that they would be issuing a full refund.
August 23rd, we packed the product up, put it on pallets, attached the issued bill of lading, and waited.
They picked up a week later. Then this process became complicated.
The entire month of September was spent discussing a cash deduction would make from our refund, which we found out we would have to contest separately from the primary refund.
We are still in the process of making that claim.
The 'primary' refund, however, was still nowhere to be seen.
October 31, we were told that they would mail the check to our billing address 'soon.'
I called bi-weekly for updates and was usually unable to reach the customer service person who was assigned to my refund.
November 19th, they finally told us what the total would be for the refund, and that they had mailed it.
November 30th until Dec 14, 2018, I reached out to request that the check be canceled and reissued, since we had not received the check.
January 11th, We still had not received the check, and customer service wouldn't take my calls.
January 22nd, We received a check! For exactly $2,000 less than the amount we were informed we would receive on 11/19/18.
Dozens of emails, calls, and 6 months later, we have received less than half of the refund we were promised 5 months ago."
"I placed an order for bar stools based on the description posted on their website. Delivery took a long time (within timeframe posted on their site) and there was little communication about the order overall. The items received were in good condition and well packaged. However, the items were much smaller than what was posted on their site. When I reached out to Affordable Seating I was told they are measured at the widest point, that is what I measured... When I refuted this point I was told that's what it is and I can return them if I want and be out my shipping costs, plus pay for return shipping, plus pay a 30% restocking fee. In the end they were unwilling to work with me to resolve the situation. Do yourself a favor a shop at a more reputable establishment."

"I should have know better as this is our second experience, both the same. The promised ship dates are not met and are , in fact, several weeks late. Customer service blames it on the carrier not picking up which, of course, is ludicrous. In both instances we've ordered booths and table tops. In both instances we check in with customer service continually to make sure our supplied finishes are to them on time and as we near the completion dates we confirm the completion dates. In both instances as the day arrives we are told maybe tomorrow, maybe next week, then we promise tomorrow, then nothing. The restaurants can't open on time affecting their bottom line as they're fully staffed based on Affordable Seating's published and promised ship dates. And again, it's not a day or two, in both instances the delays are weeks. We contact customer service as well as Jeff Walden, whom we were told is the owner and/or in charge. Nothing. Most recent order was placed 6/11/18, today is 9/6/18 "
