"Alibaba is a different type of market place. The number one difference is that it requires spending time chatting with the suppliers reps. I have made a couple of purchases and have spent numerous hours chatting with suppliers on Alibaba. For the most part the supplier reps are able to communicate quite well in English.

I have a small business, and as our business has grown we have sought save money by finding suppliers in China to replace resellers in the US. It is time consuming to chat with numerous company reps on Alibaba but I have found it is worth the time. Once I find a supplier with good quality products and attractive pricing, I buy from the same companies over and over.

I have found that there is always some negotiating room with the company reps but they are very polite about it even I'm sure they are tired of me asking for a lower price.

I have found very good quality products at prices that are substantially below what resellers in the US charge (even after paying shipping costs). If you have a business in need of wholesale supplies and some time to put into finding the right company I would strongly RECOMMEND Alibaba. "
