On July 9,2023 I placed an order with Allbrands for 3 items. On July 12, 2023 I was notified that the primary item was unavailable and my order was being canceled. On July 18, 2023 I requested a refund of the canceled item as they had not credited back my card. 2 emails later I still have not received the credit for over $100.00. Today is July 21, 2023.

"Shady, unscrupulous business practices. I ordered the wrong item by mistake and cancelled my order within hours. My order had not shipped yet. My cancellation seemed to be hung up so I emailed AllBrands days later and was told it was shipped already and to just refuse shipment and you'll get your refund. It was shipped days after I cancelled (they do NOT accept cancellations). Did I get my refund eventually?? Yeah, after they scammed me out of shipping charges both ways even though it hadn't left their warehouse as well as a hefty restocking fee. Reputable business do not engage in these shifty, clandestine practices. And AllBrands is certainly not a reputable business."
"ALLBRANDS provides products designed for sewing and embroidery. They have items that are difficult to find in many stores. I believe their products are quality and each store location works hard to make customers satisfied and repeat business. My favorite facet of ALLBRANDS is the seminar/ workshops they host. Experts are brought in to lead these workshops and are just plain FUN, informative, and so very worth the workshop fee. ALLBRANDS staff are supportive and knowledgeable and very personable. Now they are reaching out to customers by providing online workshops at no cost. What a great company!"
"Beware. This is a scam site. Took my order, charged immediately. Never received it. Tried calling, emailing, chatting. After a few weeks, received a response that the shipment was delayed to a specific date. The date came and went and I never received confirmation that the shipment was on its way. Emails, calls (voicemails), etc. are left unanswered.
I am now red flagging this company to my credit card and will attempt to retrieve payment."

"Like everyone else, I wish I can give negative starts. This isn’t far the worst customer service I have ever received. As mentioned by previous customers, John Douthat contacted me after many failed attempts at resolving an issue and did absolutely nothing to better my experience.
Made a purchase in April, never received shipment confirmation for over a month, I had to reach out to them. They wouldn’t even let me cancel or atleast provide faster shipping. Machine came missing some “included” accessories, I got in contact with TechSew (machine brand) and they sent me the complete list. I was then asked to return the other set of accessories and they expected me to pay the $26 return fee. It is now the end of June and I still have no resolve from a purchase made in mid April. "
"4/10/18 I purchased Embroidery machine software (there is an instant download with serial # available from most other vendors, I just assumed same with this one). after I purchased (saved $20.00) there was no download available. I called and spoke to their representative (Chanell). I told her I needed the software asap. She assured me I could cancel at anytime. I decided to wait. I waited for 7 days.....4/17/18 (11:44 am) Finally called her and told her I was going to order the same software from another vendor and she assured me it had not shipped out from their warehouse yet and I could cancel with no problem (Wow.. 7 days).
1:49pm I recieved a email from "Heather" informing me of their policies. She said my software had shipped and I could not cancel. I called back and spoke to Chanell, I explained that I had already purchased the software again from another Vender (159.00) she said the only thing she could do would be to have "Heather" call me. I left message for Heater and I emailed her (she never responded). I refused the software, delivered the very next day (wow, delivered in "one" day, but held for "Seven") The refunded only a partial amount of my money (they with held $50.00). I emailed Heather again, telling her this was unacceptable, very poor customer service and I was going to write a bad review. I waited until today. They obviously don't care much about customer service or retention.
I found the same great deal with AnnTheGran. I would steer clear of this company, as they do not abide by what they say and they obviously don't train their staff in their own policies."
"I'M WAITING ON THE PHONE FOR AN UPDATE ON MY ORDER 2367893 THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SHIPPED 3 DAYS AGO.
I'm needing this piece to keep my production running and decided to purchase from them because of their notice: Orders ship out on the next day.
I have called several times and they hang the phone on you and will not give you concrete answers. Hopefully "Trishia" will be more helpful than "Kim".

"I purchased 2 Snap Monster Magnetic Embroidery Hoops from AllBrands. This is a new item for my Brother machine it's large a 6x10. The owners had this new hoop for a special price. It was 69.99. A steal. No other company had this item for this price. I looked and looked and stumbled upon AllBrands and was so happy I did. I purchased 2. They treated me very well. It didn't matter that I was only spending a small amount they treated me like I was a big spender. My experience was so great that I have so many items in my wishlist. I only wished I lived near one of their locations. I would be a regular customer. Will definitely purchase my sewing needs from AllBrands

"Knit It Now and AllBrands.com have a sales affiliation. When I selected an item to on Knit It Now to purchase, I had to click a "check price link", that put me to another location with a price with an option to purchase. When I clicked on purchase, it put me to AllBrands.com website where the price was $230.00 more than listed. I used the match price link on AllBrands.com showing them the price and never received a response. Three days later I emailed both companies (copying them in the same email) with screen shots showing the advertised price. I received an immediate and professionally written response from Knit it Know indicating it appeared to be an error and that they don't sell the products and that AllBrands.com would need to contact me. Later in the day AllBrands.com responded with a short email indicating the price was wrong and the higher price on their site was the correct price. Both companies blamed one another and neither company was willing to work with me to make their error right.
What really raised a red flag to me was and email that I was copied on (probably shouldn't have been) from the John Douthat - President, Owner *& Tech " Sue, please correct the price of Silver Reed YC6 Color Changer on your KnitItNow.com website to $349.99, the same as it is on AllBrands.com below."

As a customer service manager of over 30 years, I feel that this was very unprofessional and look much like a bait and switch attempt. After my emails, I did some research and it looks like the reputation off AllBrands.com isn't all that good.
I was sure to tell them that I would share my experience with everyone I know.

"If I had the option of giving this company negative stars I would in a heart beat! Worst online purchase I have ever experienced. Allbrands.com is a total scam. They sold me a defective sewing machine and charged me return fees and restocking fees for an "open box item" that I never even used. Had I known that the item was going to be defective to begin with I would have never opened the box. They basically sell you defective items and give you the run around to basically beg for your money back for crap service and products and charge you a 20% restocking fee so in the end you lose out on money for an item that was never working to begin with. I'll never purchase from this website again, I can only imagine all the other people who has fallen victim to these scam artists. Steer clear from this website!"
