"I ordered 3 products from this company to repair my AC unit. First I had to replace the evaporator, which went perfectly well, I received the unit in a timely fashion and it was in good condition so far as I can tell.
Then I ordered a new condenser .
The condenser arrived damaged beyond repair. Cracks in piping causing oil to leak everywhere, the foil mesh on the inside of the case looked as if it had been kicked. So, I contacted them and was instructed to file a claim with the carrier. No problem, I order another condenser.
The second one arrives beat to hell. It looks as if it were dropped down a flight of stairs. SO I contact them again, and submit another claim with the carrier.
It should be noted that these units required a person present to receive the delivery, I was not available but my neighbor signed for both deliveries and my wife arrived home in time to speak to the driver of the second. In neither case did the packaging appear to be damaged to my neighbor or my wife in the second instance.
Long story short Fedex finds no liability on either delivery. Now I contact Alpine again, and they say they can refund the first, but not the second, because I checked a box acknowledging that I would inspect the unit for damage on arrival. This feels like an excuse to offload broken units without liability to me.
So, because an elderly woman who signed for my package didn’t ask the delivery driver to wait while she inspected the 177lb condenser in a box that appeared to be undamaged, I’m out $920.99 for a unit that apparently left their warehouse severely damaged.
Never use this company.

"The price, the quality of the products, are all 4 stars. The delivery service is awful. They called me at 8:45 am asked to set up a delivery date on a Friday morning. I asked why can't they deliver today and their reply was it's still on the transit trailer. The items were at their delivery depot. The earliest they could get it to me would be Monday. Since I don't have a pickup truck and everyone I knew with 1 was working I had to rent a pickup truck. Or wait until Monday. Crazy. And the time to process the order was long. Ordered on a Monday. Retrieved it on Friday. "
