"I ordered, and paid for, an updraft 80% 120k btu furnace. Three weeks later, no furnace and no contact from the business. I live in Alaska, so I gave them the benifit of the doubt. Shipping can take a while. When I finally call to find out what's taking a very long time, they respond with, "Our website was wrong, you need to pay another $104 for shipping. The order automatically kicked off our system and got lost in the shuffle. They took my money and never even called to say there was an issue with my order. Living in Alaska is cold and now I have to find a respectable hvac supplier to handle my purchase. Thanks for screwing this up so bad Alpine!!"

"Fast shipping. Delivery guy came earlier that the set time, which was fine with me. Real nice guy. Everything came as ordered, and perfect cond. Got the unit working tonight, it runs great. A little on the loud side, but only when the AC is on. Fan is barely noticeable. Heat mode isn't very loud. I do hate that the supply/return are not in sync with my set up. "I think the furnace is fine although it is not installed yet (going to our getaway place up north). Our "free delivery" though didn't work out. FedX couldn't deliver the furnace to our home because of some temporary weight restrictions on roads in the area. After a morning of many phone calls and trying to find a solution, FedX landed up taking the furnace back to their docks in Franklin WI and we had to drive there the next day and pick it up ourselves. This involved us removing all the seats in our minivan to accommodate the big package. I believe Alpine should have confirmed in advance with FedX that the package was deliverable to the address it was going to. We completely lost the convenience of having the furnace delivered to our home - which was one of the reasons we chose to order from Alpine to start with. Also, Alpine may had paid an extra charge to FedX for this delivery that was never made."

Transpirtation: 50%, I was not contacted to set up an appointment by RL carriers and had to call them. They set a four hour delivery window instead of a preferable 2 hours. They delivered the furnace 5 minutes after the 4 hour window. The furnace was not secured, double attached on pallets and had fallen over on the truck bed. The packaging was not damaged so we acceptted delivery. Upon request install we discovered the burner shoots had all fell out. These were reinstalled.
Furnace working: seems to be working 100%, however, future deliveries need to be managed better. The board could have been ruined or other internal parts damaged."
