"I decided to go on a 3 day adventure ride at the last minute. My usual ride, a 2009 KLR650 was out of commission, needing a complete to the frame teardown and rebuild. I decided it was time to prep a 2013 Husqvarna TR650 Terra.
Crash bars, bash plate and tail plate required ASAP. Ordered on Monday. Arrived Tuesday (shipping was free), installed Tuesday afternoon. Incredibly fantastic fit and finish. Total install time for all 3 pieces was less than an hour. I'm blown away by that!
I'll definitely shop AltRider again in the future and will definitely recommend to fellow Adventure Riders.

"The headlight protector for my 2014 R1200 GSA is well-engineered and looks great. But the instructions are horrible. There are just too many steps left out - the most important being how to connect the bottom of each bracket to the bike (you have to figure this out completely on your own - the mystery is solved finally, when you determine (from pure desperation) that concealed manufacturer's hex-shaped openings on the underside of the beak assembly are used to fasten the bracket to the beak). Two of the metal washers with flanges are critical to the install and aren't even identified in the instructions - it is left up to your imagination to figure out that these get inserted into the hex-shaped openings, followed by another washer and the screws. It would have also been nice to tell us that the sticker that serves as a glare protector has a micro-cut pattern that is barely visible; and that the plastic washers that goes between the bracket and the beak are not included - it turns out these very small, crystal-clear washers are underneath each of the BMW's own screws (I learned about this giving up on searching in the parts bag and then discovering them after one fell to the floor and rolled underneath the workbench). It would also be nice to know that installation is a little easier if you loosen the plastic panels on each side of the beak to better negotiate fitting the bracket in the very tight space between the beak and the LED headlight assembly. I did a lot of research and am convinced this is the best product out there - but its a shame that such a great product is tarnished by such lousy instructions. "
