"I bought a couple 3TB G-Tech hard drives from Always Lowest, but then learned, upon arrival, the drives were incompatible with Windows XP. It took a little bit more communication back and forth to get the drives returned (their website indicates the drives *are* compatible in XP, so I had to quote G-Tech support), but ultimately they did issue an RMA#, take the drives back, and my charge was credited. They did good by me."

"I purchased a laptop from this company and their warehouse shipped 2 units. So we set the other unit to the side to send it back. I work full time nights at a hospital and go to school full time during the day....sleep is not my friend. So this "extra" unit was pushed to the side to send at a later time. The company sent me an email, and called on the 8th of march. Again, sleep not my friend but when it does come, I take full advantage! So of course I didn't answer my phone, nor did I check my email. They never left a message either. Then the next day they sent another email and called again, leaving a voicemail this time. I tried calling back and they had already closed, so I sent a reply email stating I was very busy and would sent the extra unit back as soon as possible. Evidently, they never received the email and took the money out of my account WITHOUT my authorization!!!!! It's not my fault these idiots sent me an extra unit! And I'm definately not going to add it to my priorities I'm already overwhelmed with! So my husband, unbeknownst to me, called and agreed with Jennifer, the returns mananger, that our account would be credited when they received their unit back! WHAT??!!! So now we have bills that have to go unpaid because these idiots made a mistake and aren't willing to give actual customer service!! I went back and read the emails and NONE of them even mentioned an apology of inconvenience of any kind on their behalf!! First off, that's the VERY first thing you say if it's your mistake!! Then I called my lawyer who said they should have never taken the money from my account. I called them and they still, never apologized, nor offered to put the money back on the unit that was already in shipment on it's way back!!! Not until they receive their package will they give me a refund...that is BS!!!!!!!!!! I asked to speak to her supervisor and she said to email customer service and I asked what the name of her supervisor was and she said she couldn't give me that information!!!!!! WTF?!! Isn't that suppose to be information that is public?! and offered in the event of a situation such as this?! I don't care if they sell the best laptop on the market for $20!, I will NEVER deal with these people again. They were rude and still, never apologized for their mistake that caused me so many problems and took money from my account without my authorization! LAWSUIT!!! You just don't do that to people...."
"There is something majorly wrong with this company's customer staff. I sent an email to 2 sales addresses and got a bounceback. I called 3 times to sales, customer service and operator and I don't get anyone. I think this business is going down the drain.
It is quite legitimate to worry about companies such as these because you could eventually loose your money. Reading other reviews showed that I am in the same boat as others so I hope that 2 weeks later I could get my parcel."
"so i placed an order without reading these reviews. and then a week after i noticed that i still hadn't received my 3tb g-drive. i checked my email for a shipment confirmation and found none. i called always lowest and they were closed--it was the middle of the night. so i immediately sent an email. the next morning, i called and went through the prompts and got voicemail. i called again and tried the prompt for businesses and a man picked up. he looked over my order and apologized for the lateness but said it was being shipped that day from a vendor. i asked for a tracking number and he said it wasn't available. i was worried this would happen--i had called to cancel the order after reading all these horrible reviews. after being a little rude to him (which i regret now), i finally got him to say that he couldn't guarantee that i would get the tracking number that day (it was friday) but that he would do his best. i thanked him then immediately sent an email w/ my previous email chain to always lowest describing my conversation with the man and requesting a tracking number be provided as soon as possible. to my surprise, i got an email w/ a tracking number that day just a few hours later. but i was still worried. was i was going to get the wrong item that i would have to ship it back to them? luckily their vendor was only one state away and i got my package today--and it's EXACTLY what i ordered. after all that worrying and paranoia!
long story short, always lowest DOES legitimate business, at least in my experience. but they just need to get their act straight. i don't know if my order slipped through the cracks or if they simply need better communication skills to let buyers know when the eta ship date is. anyhow, don't worry like i did if you've already placed an order. it just shows you have to take others' opinions with a grain of salt. plus more people write negative reviews rather than fair to good ones (also if you click on the users, most only reviewed always lowest or had complaints about other vendors). would i go out of my way to order from almost lowest? not really. but they did have the lowest price for the g-drive like their name says.
minus all my unnecessary worrying caused by my neurosis, i'd say i got decent service from always lowest--a 6 business day turnover from placing the order to receiving the order. minus one star for not keeping me posted on the delay of my shipment."
"Order what you want from just about any where else. 13 days after ordering. Called and asked where drives were. "we are waiting on confirmation from our vendor" WHAT?!?!? Site says "In stock and ready for shipment. Usually Ships Next Day.". Then moments after being off the phone with them the price of the item also nearly doubled. What a shady company. Buy anywhere else. They at minimum should have emailed or called to say they did not really have the part in stock, We had a client waiting on these with a time sensitive project. "

"I wish I would of visited this site prior to purchasing from AlwaysLowest. By far the worst internet purchasing experience I've had. Not only did they delay the order the scanner I bought didn’t even turn on. I called their customer service number and spoke to someone I hardly understood which told me to get on line and fill out a form. Now 3 weeks post my purchase I'm out almost $300.00 until they receive their defective product. All this to save a couple of bucks. I've learned my lesson never purchase without checking all the reviews and never from AlwaysLowestpointed"
"These guys are AWFUL.
I made the mistake of ordering from them before I had read the other reviews on this page. Ordered a fancy (expensive) ergonomic keyboard, and after two weeks of trying to get used to it, decided it wasn’t worth the price, and decided to return it.
That’s when I ran into this review page … I took a deep breath, knowing that getting a refund was going to be a total pain, and requested an RMA.
After requesting an RMA, I was directed to a website, where I had to fill out a bunch of silly, totally unnecessary information. Then I waited … no response. Emailed, and they basically said "wait some more."
Five days later, they emailed to ask if I had opened the package, which I assume was just to buy themselves time, since this was completely clear from the emails and the form I filled out. But eventually, they sent me a RMA and address, and I sent it back.
That’s when the real problems started. A few days after the package was delivered back to them, I emailed to make sure they had it okay, and to ask (politely) when they would we issuing the refund. No response. Waited a week, and emailed again. No response. At this point, I had neither the item, nor the money, no apparently could I get ahold of anyone.
So, I escalated, and issued a disputed through Paypal, and sent them an email to let them know that I fully intended to get my money back. FINALLY I got a response (basically, it took me directly threatening them, and then they answer their email quite quickly, as it turns out), asking for the TRACKING number, since they couldn’t find the package. They also declined to issue a refund through the Paypal dispute, saying again that I didn’t send it.
I’m guessing their game was to hope that I didn’t have tracking, and then to just claim that I never sent it. Presumably, if I didn’t have this information, I would be out some serious money. Luckily, I had all the information, and they had SIGNED for the damn thing, so there was pretty much no way for them to continue to pretend they didn’t have it.
At this point, I guess they realized they couldn’t actually get away with scamming me, and issued a refund. These guys are total scum, there is absolutely no reason to do business with these bottom-feeders. Look elsewhere, there are plenty of reputable people out there, AlwaysLowest / Unitek is certainly not one of them."
"These guys have been the best. I have ordered 4 Plantronics headsets from them and they have all arrived in the time expected. The ordering was easy and they gave me an excellent price. I would be very wary of the one star reviews below, they are most likely left by competitors that cannot offer as good a price. "This is the WORST online firm that I have ever done business with. They screwed up delivery of my order, ignored my explicit delivery instructs, and then recalled the order back to them when they messed up the delivery. I took a whole day off from work to be home to receive a parcel that they marked as Direct Signature Required, even though I expressly told them NOT to ship the parcel with those delivery restrictions. Returned it, took them 2 months to replace it, and they sent me another defective keyboard where none of the keys work. Tried calling them about 10 times and no one picks up the phone. I'm just glad I didn't order anything more expensive. Highly not recommended. "
"I ordered box fans on June 24, but the date they shipped them out is July 26. Actually, it is fine that they needed so much time to get the fans. But what I can't accept is that they always said they would ship them soon, like next week or paticular date. But none of them was true. I could have canceled the order if they would have told me the truth. I didn't have to wait for them for more than one month. The summer is already half gone. They are genuine liers. Be aware."
