"Received item Friday Nov 3rd and it was for a ford f150, not for a silverado like i ordered. Got told by tuning dept that it would still work on my truck but it did not. While customer service people were cordial, the return process so far has kind of been a hassle. Got the fedex return label via email today, Nov 6th (Monday) and they will not ship out the correct item until they receive the incorrect one back from me. So, not expecting to get it this week, which is disheartening considering it was a nearly $500 purchase. Don't think I would buy anything from here again."
"This was an "Open Box" purchase with a description as follows;
*Looks brand new.
*May be missing instructions.
Well, the (2) 5" Barricade Oval S.S. side boards were not wrapped with any type of protective packaging and the (6) black painted steel brackets also with no protective packaging were just placed in a large box. You can just imagine how scratched / scuffed up they arrived in Rochester, NY from the State of Kansas!
Due to this poor packaging, they did not arrive as described "Looks brand new."
I have purchased numerous items from American Trucks in the recent pasts with no issues, but this purchase was not good."
