"Not happy... next time I'll use CENSORED. I purchased a brake controller then found out it was not what my local RV center told me I could use. As such, I needed to return it and American RV hit me with shipping charges both ways (despite refusing delivery of the item) plus a hefty restocking fee. This ended up costing me almost $40 to return the item whereas on CENSORED, they would have happily covered this cost. Buying on-line can be risky, especially from dealers like American RV. I've learned my lesson and will stick with CENSORED as there is no risk and their prices are competitive.

Hi John, thank you for your response. You are correct and I failed to read the American RV website, which states a 20% restocking fee shall be assessed for the privilege of returning an item. On a $300 item, this equates to a $60 charge for merely refusing delivery, plus shipping costs both ways (another $30). This is highway robbery and is the reason I gave American RV 1 star."
