"We love this mattress and this company! The mattress was a dream for us comfort wise...except one little thing. My wife is a side sleeper sometimes and her arm would go to sleep. So about 45 days in, we called Amerisleep and they sent us a complimentary 3-inch foam topper to relieve those pressure points. This is a great company and a great mattress."

"So I impulse ordered the mattress without consulting with my partners... due to the great reviews, this seemed like it would be perfect for us. I LOVED the mattress. It was super comfortable and cool (temperature-wise). I sweated with our previous mattress but not at all with the Amerisleep.

The dealbreaker was lack of edge support. Due to the nature of the memory foam material, when you’re close to the edge, it can feel like you’re rolling off. Which, ya know, is not a great feeling, but I felt like it really just FELT like that; I wasn’t really rolling off when I relaxed.

We ended up returning the mattress, which was SUPER easy and quick (hence the review title), but I would have loved to keep this mattress. We returned it against my will :)

PS: we ordered the king-sized mattress; I don’t know if the experience would differ with smaller sizes. "

"Our AS4 mattress arrived promptly about 1 week after ordering. It was a bit diffucult to roll it out on our bed, but we managed and then left it to loft. My husband deals with back and joint pain, and poor sleep in general, so I was pleased and surprised when he said that this mattress was comfortable. There is minimal motion transfer, but still more than a split mattress. I don’t sleep excessively hot on it - another surprise - and I never feel stuck, even though it’s rated as fairly plush. I still have some slight shoulder pain, which requires a shift in position in the night, so we may have done well with the AS5, both of us being side sleepers. The AS4 offeres much support and pressure point relief in general. I just wish they offered a split mattress in a Cal King. We are a middle-aged couple, 6’3”, 210 lb., 5’9”, 170 lb., and fairly active."
