"I have a few Contractors and Project Managers as friends and family and it’s always been a “never hire anyone off Yelp, Angi’s, etc.” However I wanted to see pricing difference, job quality between just the normal companies hired, and obviously save some money. So I went on Yelp, Google, Home Advisor, and Angi’s. I’ll be upfront Yelp was the most user friendly. However the quotes I received where double and triple I thought. A matter of fact the Contracting Engineer pricing was neck and neck. Google didn’t do me much justice because they advertise based off who pays them and sometimes can supersede the quality. Home Advisor was sign up for XY&Z. So It left me with my last resort Angi’s List. Now I had requested quotes for a job on Angi’s a few months prior and the response time where trash. So I figured I’d give the app 1 last shot. Now being the market we’re in it was hard for people to get back in a timely manner. However those that did didn’t do just the average phone call leave a voicemail. These workers went the new wave and texted. I received the best pricing, local in my area, and even hired through Angi’s due to all the above. First job I used off Angi’s came out great and we will now always use in the runnings for jobs in the future."
