"Any website that promises a lot, especially related to home improvement projects in FLORIDA is taking on a lot. I've had an Angi's account when it still Angie's List, so this was my first time using Angi.

Small paver project less than 1.5K budget. I filled out what I needed to on Angi, and Angi gave me three pavers/ contractors. Pressed a few keys and forgot about it. One of the recommended pavers/contractors called me the next day (Lightning Pavers & More). They showed up when they said they would, gave me a fair quote and gave me a time estimate for job completion (4 weeks).

Due to a change in their schedule, they had a window of time the next day- they came out the next day and completed the job - professionally, in a timely manner and with a fair price. Please note that I had a pallet of pavers on my property from a pervious job, so I did not have to factor in waiting for materials.

In conclusion, on Sunday night I haphazardly entered my project requirements into Angi, contacted three recommended contractors, one called, got the job and due to fortunate circumstances on Wednesday I had a new paved walkway.

My take away? I got lucky. Lightning Pavers & More, especially Vanessa, were great and I had the materials on hand.

Never heard back from the other recommended contractors. The Angi app had more recommended contractor suggestions after the first three. I was not diligent in checking the app to see if any other contractors responded to my initial query.

Transactions that begin on the internet (which is virtually all transactions) are dependent on contractors reaching out to customers to make a connection in a timely manner. I got lucky and went with the first and only one that contacted me.

I can't speak to complex projects that need three estimates and have complicated supply chain material issues. I can only speak to my experience and my simple project.
