"Although Apple has a tendency to over price a lot of their products I can't hold that against them as they do have some pretty incredible machines and their designs are flawless. Also great customer service online and a great community when you go to their local shops."
"Their order process is great, green. No need for carry the receipt. But their Representative on phone doesn't sound willing to help. I have bought one black iPad 2 and want to have a white one, wifi only with 16GB. I know the white color IPad 2 is hot and it runs out quickly so I always want to know if it is available before I drive to its store. But the representative on Phone sounds really inpatient and kept telling me no stock right now. I guess they don't care about customer since they don't worry about the market. Anyway, the product is good but the service is not friendly as well. "
"It is so easy to order from apple online. I order several different products from them throughout the year as corporate gifts. I ALWAYS receive my products earlier than they say on their website and I am always satisfied. I like that I can put custom engraving on the products for free. "
"not happy... ipad 2 is out. i just got mine ipad 1....."
"This is one of my recent experience in one of several Apple Store, as I have visited the two flagship stores in New York, and many of Florida, including Orlando, one in Tampa, one in Fort Lauderdale and Aventura, as almost All of Miami and although its excellent products speak for themselves, I must add that personal attention is the best, know what they offer and really help to buy. Likewise, people who support and care for you for guarantee problems at the Genius Bar, they do a superb job.
Do not know if others stores I always find the same attention as this would be almost impossible, but you can see that Apple has done its best to make your shopping experience to be the best of the best."
"They have the best staff anywhere! I purchased a MacBook Pro when my Dell crashed. I couldn't be happier!"
"Ordered the previous itouch because I like it and
didn't need the cameras on the new ones. They said that it would be here by the 20th. It came in today
12/16 and it's in pristine condition. There's a reason why Apple is number 1."
"Apple doesn't need any reviews. Their products speak for themselves................"
"I bought an iPod Touch (2nd gen) from Target on 19 Oct 2009. A few weeks away from warranty expiration, my battery barely held a charge, and I decided to get it fixed. I couldn't be more pleased with how things went.
I used Apple's online "repair depot" form to initiate in-warranty repairs. I typed in my serial number and then selected my issue. Apple gave me the option of either 1) receiving a prepaid mailer in which to send them the iPod, or 2) going to my local UPS Store and mailing the iPod on their account. I chose the latter and dropped my iPod off on Oct 9.
On Oct 12, Apple sent me an email reporting they'd received the iPod and would be sending me a brand new one as a replacement. Two days later, I had the new iPod in my hands.
This was THE best warranty repair I have ever experienced. No hassles, no gimmicks: just quick, quality repairs. Thanks to their online form, I never even had to speak a person. I wish I could say as much for other corporations!"
"Ordered a remanufactured Macbook. Shipped the same day, and received it in 2.5 days. Price was decent, and the computer looked brand new. Great service, and I think we will shop there again.
(Ordered to replace a 13 month old HP computer that they wanted $300 to fix the motherboard...which had already been replaced once.)"
"I have ordered from the Apple Store several times. This was an in-store pickup. Good, friendly, service. Apple products are overpriced in my opinion. Most of the products are well-made but still on the high-end price-wise. "
"Absolutely horrible!!! Order a iPad, miss delivery becuase I'm at work, went to Fedex for pick-up and was told I can't pick up the package because I don't have a driver license. Show fedex passport, & electric, gas bills that show the address. Fedex refuse to release package because apple require a Driver license in order to pick-up package. This is ridiculous!!!!!!!!!! I don't drive, I don't have driver license. I work 9am - 7pm, and there's no way I'm taking a day-off and wait for delivery.
I have always shop online and pick-up packages in Fedex and UPS without any probem. What is a big deal with APPLE????????????
"
"I have been an apple user since vista, wish i would have gone there sooner.
I have purchased quite a few apple products from apple store since. Over expierance is great, very professional. Would appreciate an ocational sale, that would be great!
Only complain is they never have any sale, if you buy it you pay retail price, period!
service is great, no wait time on phone, very clear correspondence.

"I was astonished at the relatively low rating the Apple Store gets. I've been using the Apple Store probably since its existence. This is an Apple intensive family and purchases have averaged at least $2,000 per year over the last 10 years. Lot's of orders.
All I can provide is my experience. Courtesy, very knowledgeable employees, the employees can be firm at times (they do not tolerate ego), extremely fast shipping unless its not in stock (in which case you know it) and excellent post sale support and service if needed.
I have used Apple's retail locations twice. Yes, its a pain. However, if I had to deal with the people those employees deal with, I would close all my stores.
Very highly recommended. "
"Bought new Macbook with cable and free iPod Touch (Education Store deal). Paid $18 for 2-3 day shipping; obviously don't use it unless you need it, but I did, and it paid off - the computer got to Wisconsin from China 48 hrs after ordering. Packing outstanding. The iPod has big scratches on back, obviously a return or refurb, and it's the previous model with version 2 of OS on it (version 3 was already out), but hey, it works fine and it's free (you have to pay up front and file for rebate on line, which they make easy to do). The computer itself is just dandy, of course.
[UPDATE 11/09: Thought I'd add this since I've read of past problems with Apple rebates. In my case, everything worked well: form was easy to complete on-line, rebate status was available on-line and there was e-mail notification; I got the rebate check in a few weeks, as expected.]
Two negatives: (1) getting the FedEx authorization to return my dead old Powerbook for free recycling, under Apple's recycling plan. Although I dutifully checked the appropriate box when ordering on-line, the promised e-mail did not come, and it took one web form, 2 e-mails, and 5 phone calls to extract it, arriving 8 days after delivery. They shouldn't have made it that tough (some of the Apple employees I spoke to on the phone knew less about their recycling program than I did). [Update Jan 2010] (2) The Firewire cable they sold me failed after 4 months of very light use (meanwhile a comparable cable I bought from MyCableMart.com for 1/3 the price - $10 vs. $30 - is better built and has worked fine). Apple passed the buck - said I had to go through the manufacturer (Belkin). So they don't stand behind non-Apple products they sell; I recommend buying cables you need elsewhere.
UPDATE 11/24/09 Another good purchase experience with a Mac Mini and peripherals. Shipping prompt (except Magic Mouse, shipped separately by DHL which seems to slow things down), packaging professional, everything worked upon setup and poweron."
