"Just got my new keyboard from Aria.
I'm very happy with it, It was only £10 but i won it in the forum.
They shipped it to me in under a day!
Great online shop. The only computer shop i shop at :)
Thank you Aria! "
"Purchased a replacement laptop drive off Aria. After being quoted double the price from the manufacturer. Drive arrived next day and well packaged at the lowest price I could find on the web.
My only issue was no email sent with tracking number, but this was provided via a quick phonecall.
Would definitely use again.

"have used this company for years(2004) never had a problem with any of the products. highly recomended"

I ordered 4 units of KVR333X64C25/512 memory for my ABIT KX7-333 motherboard.
I installed the memory properly (grounding myself, etc) only to get 1 long beep indicating a POST error with the memory.
I thoroughly cleaned the mobo and the DIMM slots.
I tried multiple combinations of sticks in DIMM slots 1&2, 3&4, 123&4 to no avail.
I reset cmos data, loaded failsafe BIOS values, reset ECSD data, all to no avail.
When I put my old 256MB sticks back in it worked fine.
I checked the Kingston website and this memory 'KVR333X64C25/512' is compatible with my mobo.
I returned the memory bubble-warpped to aria.
I then got an emial saying they had 'tested' the memory only to find no error (!)
At this point I asked for a refund and have heard nothing from them.
As they appear to be badly unprofessional I will contact my bank to issue a charge back against them.
I strongly advise anyone NOT to purchase ANYTHING from aria as they are abyssmal.

"Appalling customer service. Disgusted.
My wife bought a Teco 32" Widescreen HD ready TV on 29/09/06, it was delivered quite promptly but that's where the good bit ends.
From initial purchase I mentioned that I was displeased with the speaker quality, if you had to turn the volume up to an audible level the speakers buzz / vibrate to a degree that makes listening to the TV unbearable, we have to listen to it through the DVD speakers at the moment.
This has gotten gradually worse and my wife called to complain and try to rectify this issue as the TV has a two year warranty, the Aria rep told my wife to call Teco directly, somewhat surprised she did this and managed after 30 min on hold to be hung up on, not a posditive starter and something we should not have had to do anyway, my wife tried to call Aria back, several times over and has yet to manage to get through again.
To add insult to injury it seems we have to pay for the packaging and return whereupon Aria will 'test' it and if they decide it's not faulty they'll return it after charging us for the testing and re-delivery, very definitely not on especially whilst well within a two year warranty period.
We are disgusted with this company and would urge anyone considering them to give them a very very wide berth."
"The following are based on my experience with the Aria Technology Limited (Aria PC Technology, aria.co.uk, aria.com, etc.), as someone with relevant legal & computing & customer-accounts qualifications & experience and having purchased without problems from many distance-traders, and my Companies House research on Aria Technology Ltd., our communications & appropriate opportunity to it to comment.
Aria Technology Limited had mislead, more money had to be paid it to replace; its couriers claimed to’ve attempted delivery, then that they were incorrectly given my contact number by it –it’d have charged again to re-deliver & a penalty fee. These were attributed to ‘bad luck’. It sent unwanted advertising, had inessential/outdated data on me on the internet. Goods bought from it were misdesribed/faulty/unfit. Told, it varied technical specifications –without more. RMA request referred to manufacturer; it refused to refund for goods returned within the cooling-off period, said ‘not faulty’ & to arrange to collect -it’d have meant more money to it & a testing fee. It avoided mention except of its house-brand, ignored correspondence & reminders, then said it credited for one less 25% -was told it was unacceptable. It said I damaged items, wouldn’t say how, then said ‘used’. Told that OFT were being consulted & I would sue, it refunded 75% -told it had a duty to know/ascertain the law, it said its company secretary, a Mr Frank Harasiwka, and its managing/sole director & owner, a Mr Aria Taheri, advised not to pay. Told I’d sue, it refunded the rest in respect of 2 items, claming a telephone conversation & agreement seeking to make the entitlement conditional, asked to state time-date-number involved it sought with sarcasm to deny it, had customers to attend. Having reserved my rights in law & given it notice copied directly to its company secretary & its director/owner, it sent documents purporting to be from a county court asking for £500 plus, for faxes sent it. Having spoken with the court who knew nothing of it, I asked to be informed of arrangements it’d make for me to discover & inspect its documents, to interview to take depositions from staff witnesses it’d produce
I added on my industrial & professional leadership website this: “In Britain Aria Technology Limited, its owner telling of having sold goods at 6 times cost price with 500% profit and it claiming to employ top professionals, in a matter in law originally of simply refunding about £100 for returned resalable goods estimated the cost only to itself of only faxes received as being nearly £600 -in that respect alone.”
I faxed it this: “Action is being instigated on what appear to be your general unlawful trading practices in respects, including as relate to limited companies, and to extents that may warrant in the public interest a full investigative audit of your affairs and your Director's Report's public undertaking & confirmation on discouraging irregularities and fraud. On evidence in matters affecting me: you misleadingly advertised yourselves; in distant sale your incorrect description caused purchasing goods unfit for purpose; you supplied independently paid technical service of unmerchantable quality; in operational matters and customer service you failed in due care; you were reckless regarding matters of reasonable contemplation and reasonably foreseeable as well as of fair and of implied contract terms and returns policy; in administrative matters of electronic communications & data you behaved irresponsibly; you disregarded laws repeatedly and also at company-secretary and director-owner level knowingly, abused consumer inequity, when alerted to laws misrepresented them to frustrate my efforts, vexatiously and frivolously sought with conduct unbecoming to becloud & bedevil issues, lied to evade liability, reacted to my final notice by scare tactics & sent unethically documents purporting to be what they were not, to exclude or limit the lawful exercise of my rights.”
Aria Technology Limited ('Aria PC Technology') appears to have contempt for consumers & laws; e.g., its public internet reply to a named customer: 'If you are too cheap to buy a floppy cable...' It sells to government, public bodies; its consumers' complaints include: adverse effects on websites of charitable nature for children, the sick, the poor, the elderly; ruination of 17 year old student's college work responded with ludicrous arrogant insults, no joy on contacting owner. It has had occasion to be ruled against by Trading Standards; in dispute supported by its customer-trader it is complained of attempting to scare off consumer comment. High employee dissatisfaction is suggestible by an ex-staff of it's reference to its quite high staff turn-over; its rating is 3.59 out of 10; public records show 4 zero satisfied legal charges on all it owns & future sales. It trades also with names other than registered. While I ponder on returned but not refunded goods' sale & stock situation, I agree with the consumer advice to avoid it like the plague.

"Aria turned out at first to be a fantastic company!
I ordered my kit at GREAT Prices and awaited for delivery - within a few days it all turned up sealed and brand new...fantastic!!
Now a little history - at the time i was 17 at college and i had spent the year working evening and weekends to save up for this PC Build costing about 1.5K. So when i got it i was very excitted.
Now that it was all up and runing a few months down the line (approx 3) my PC was over heating at a crazy rate - the Processor was not cooling down fast enough - i called up aria and they advised that i should re-apply some coolent gell and this would resolve the issue.
Did this and still the same problem - so i called again and they stated that i would have to send them the processor in to look at and this would take upto 2 weeks or more to be carried out and that i would incour all deliver and shipment costs. This was a little frustraiting and i agreed to this - however during this time my hard drive also failed causing me to loose about 50% of my course work for college. When i called up to express my urgency of getting these items back asap for my Course no one seamed to give a damn - i eventualy got to speak to one of the managers who was about as arrogant, insultive and patronising person i have ever spoken too. He stated (long story short) that i needed to send the whole PC in - PAY THEM £80 to look at it and then they would fix it and send it back...i argued that all items where under warrenty and he stated "In that case you will need to send us one item at a time for us to look at it - confirm its working and send it back then you can send the next item" i explained that this was ludicrus and that there must be another way...
So i managed to find out who and where Mr. Aria lived (from the Small Business Federation Database £5) and i sent him a sincere letter explaning my issue and the level of "customer care" i was recieving...the letter was simply passed back to the manager i was dealing with before - my aria accepted no responcability and "Is too busy to speak to his customers"...
Disgracefull! I have never dealt with such a company before - and i hope i never will - i wish i could go into more details but it was such a while ago that i have forgotten all the "Exact" words.
But in the end i was forced to go out and buy over £400 worth of equipment to get my PC working again and still aria will not accept my returns... shame.
Thanks! "
"bought a dell 30" widescreen TV from aria last week and have to say that i am well impressed. i think the price may have been a mistake or something because it seemed so cheap. i posted a comment asking if it was 2nd hand or was there somethig wrong with it and they said they were brand new. ever the sceptic i was still unsure but took a gamble.
£1000 is a lot of money but not for this tv, i got it under 36 hours after i ordered it and it WAS brand new, is massive - im watching dodgeball on it as i type - what an awesome item and what an awesome price.
very impressed aria. keep it up, ill be keeping my eye out for other such deals in the future. what a great website it is.
i would defo recommend checking them out.

"I have ordered many times from Aria. Their delivery has always been excellent, i have only ever had one item slightly wrong, and this was nothing serious. All other orders have been packaged well, delivered in good condition, pretty quickly.
Their prices are often highly competetive.
I have unfortunately had reason to test their returns system. My shuttle pc's motherboard died, and the Sony DVD+/-RW drive has never burnt a single DVD successfully. They replaced the motherboard, though it took a few weeks, and i had to chase it up, but they claimed that the DVD drive tested as working perfectly. I have tried it with different software and various media, so i suspect they just didn't want to replace it, and it wasn't a fault that was easy to prove. :( They were at least polite and helpful throughout the process, even if they did seem to get a bit confused with what my stuff was at in the service department at one point, they got that sorted in 24 hours.
They use city link for delivery, who are best described as moderately unreliable. I once had to phone city link to get them to come back and deliver an order that they had claimed that they had left a card for when i was sat at home waiting, and hey - no card. The driver couldn't be bothered to get out of the van when it was raining hard. He was apologetic when he was sent back at 6pm, but there seemed to be morale/management issues to me. I have also had externally damaged packages from city link before, but they did at least point it out and fortunately the item was undamaged.
As with all stores that clearly aim to compete on price, you don't expect to get the same levels of service as those stores that pride themselves on service. However, I feel that aria are pretty decent on service considering their price levels. Certainly better than other comparable stores that i have used."
"Ordering and receiving goods from this company are very completive with prompt delivery… But watch out when it comes to after sales service they are the worst I have come across. I tested components sent to us by Aria using Micro 2000 diagnostics, because of faults. Having sent back the goods one was replaced and the other three items apparently were not faulty. I have reluctantly, after eventually getting through agreed to pay for their return to re-test. I have now been battling for nearly a year for their return! No one will respond to e-mails to deal with the return of our goods and when eventually you get through to customer services they still do not get back to you. Now to top it all they have dropped their customer services e-mail address, I wonder why! "
"I buy a lot from Aria, and have no issues with purhasing from Aria. Its just there returns system is very poor . They do not respond to any emails, i have spent hours on the phone trying to get through, i have had people promise to call me back, and they don't. Its o much hard work trying to get something fixed by aria - I shall not use them again."
"APPAULING!
Do not use this company - I am still waiting (7 weeks later) for a stick of memory - despite calls every day and them telling me it will be dispatched still nothing.
DO NOT use these guys - there are far better companies around
"
"I ordered a DVD rewrtier from them. Inc the postage it was the cheapest out there and it was delivered quickly even though I chose the slowest method.
Drive was great and the amount of bubble wrap round it meant you could have played football with out it getting damaged. Highly recommended"
"Absolutely EXCELLENT company, a pleasure to do business with, I have personally made many orders with them over the last 5 years (more than 100 individual orders) a friend runs his business (computer sales) exclusively using components from Aria, EVERY single time the order has been delivered next day, and is as described on the website or review online.
Aria is a company who supply to people with some computer knowledge, not people who would normally buy from the high street, this can be the only reason why the people who have had bad experiences have had them, because they have done stupid things and damaged the products themselves, I am glad there is a company (FINALLY!) who does not penalise those who can understand what they are doing by supporting those who don’t with replacement of items which the customer broke, guarantees are not to protect the idiots who damage items but the people who are supplied items which have manufacturing faults (which I might add are not aria’s fault), if you damage it through stupidity you should not be entitled to anything in return!!
I can’t recommend Aria Tech. Highly enough, I urge anyone to buy from them (assuming they have a basic knowledge of what they are buying and how to use it!)
"
"This is the worst company I have ever dealt with on the internet. I have sent a faulty switch back and they refuse to deliver it, they claim they will not leave it with a neighbour "in case it is stolen" It is now over five weeks and I have had to buy a replacement else where.
The senior staff have a serious attitude problem and are well versed in dodging complaints.
My advice to anyone thinking of buying from Aria Technology is to think again and avoid them like the plague.
A very very suspect company.
