"Update of review Jan '13: The parts were finally delivered, and they were as described, so I guess that is the important thing. I did (finally) receive one reply by email from Auto Parts: "Please contact Bongo for shipping inquiries". So I guess that is something. I have updated my ratings appropriately.
Orginal review Dec '12.
SUMMARY: A very poor experience. COMMUNICATION: NO response to multiple emails. NO phone call ever answered. Voicemail left twice: NO reponse. PARTS DELIVERY: NOT YET (ever?) after 21 days. TRACKING OF ORDER: Useless, "No order found", mulitple attempts. Really, so far it's as if I gave $300 to charity. I have had ONE response -from Bongo: "your order was held in our warehouse,I will arrange to get it sent", so the parts may actually turn up. Even then, I would not do this again. US companies just cannot seem to handle international orders, I think. Geoff de Looze, Australia.

"Quick, easy, helpful and very personable .
I would absolutely recommend you and I will be using you again!"
"Got what I ordered ahead of time with no damage. "
"It was an excellent delivery."
"Everything was in stock and delivered on time. Parts were relatively hard to find OEM parts for a 1998 Infinity Q45 ignition. Price was within 15% of cheapest Ebay "knockoff" brand parts, and nearly half of local sources. I'll be back "
"The part arrived broken and no instructions on how to install it.
Autopartsnetwork called me and sent me a new part. My local Firestone dealer was able to install it but the plastic clips that go over the tabs had to be ordered. This is a good outfit if you know exactly what parts you need for installation. Customer service is very good but this is not a full service parts provider. You need to know what to buy to be able to do the install yourself. "
"my part was delivered within the timeframe promised, it was the correct part and it worked."
"Fantastic!
1- Purchasing was easy on their website.
2- Shipped very fast.
3- Received very fast.
4- The quality of packing the product was the best I've seen, tight, padded and secure...fragile item arrived in perfect order.
I'm impressed, I'll definitely order from Autopartsnetwork.com again.
Thank you and Merry Christmas,
Randy "
"Canadian buyer here. I ordered using my visa card that works completely fine for every online seller I can think of. To save on shipping, I specified my shipping address in USA.
Seeing a Canadian billing address, Autopartsnetwork's web site added an extra $27 to my order, and bounced my order to a company called Bongo, who supposedly verify orders and take care of international shipping. From that point on, the experience with Bongo and Autopartsnetwork has been poor, and more than two weeks later, it's not clear when my part will finally arrive.
The tracking information provided by Bongo never worked. As a verification, they sent a refund of $0.02, but never bothered to get in touch and advise that they want to confirm the CC details. So the approach is "we took your money, now it's your job to keep make sure you get your thing". After following up twice w/Bongo (one email, one phone call), the card was confirmed, and they assured me the order was "in progress".
Another tracking number was provided, which ALSO did not work. This all took over a week. Latest I heard of my order, is it was being shipped by Autopartsnetwork to Bongo's depot in Florida, only to be shipped to the ultimate destination (in Point Roberts, WA, USA!).
To be fair, the customer service agents (when I got a hold of them) were helpful and courteous, but now it's December 3, and there's still no word on where my part is.
But I was asked to provide feedback on my order. So here it is. Autopartsnetwork, please kindly get a better business analyst? It's almost insulting that a simple transaction, with a domestic shipping, ended up costing me an extra $27 and unknown amount of additional wait time.
Or at least work it out between you and Bongo that they can bill a Canadian VISA card without also requiring the shipment of parts all over the country, where in fact the shipping is STILL domestic."
"sincerament6e estoy insatisfecho con esta compaÑia y mucho mas cuando no tienen el tacto de negociar con los clientes"
"I have never bought an auto part online but I needed a specialty item that many of the national parts stores either did not have available or they had perfermance parts that were out of my price range. What I needed was an OEM part and not only did they have it, but the price was almost 80% cheaper than the performance alternatives. I accidently put my billing information in incorrectly and the customer service representative Robert and his manager David were more than helpful and gracious in understanding my problem. They helped get my order through even though I had it wrong on my end. These guys are pros and deserve your business. Thanks so much guys!"
"Website did not specify shipping amounts or provide any info regarding shipping. Shipping costs were provided after the transaction which would have alter my decision. Customer service was helpful. "
"part was delivered ahead of schedule"
"So I order four rotors. One is defective. I call to arrange an exchange - and they want PICTURES of my allegedly defective rotor(!!) I don't have time for pictures, I'll just order another rotor. No, suddenly they'll ship another rotor. Immediately. Express. A week and a half later, still no rotor. So my car repair is set back two weeks. I've ordered a new rotor - from a different supplier - and I've removed Auto Parts Network from my favorites list. You might have a better experience. Good luck."
"Parts where not the parts I ordered. I ordered three parts two were for a differant car. Robert the person I delt with on the phone was nice. He tried to help but to no avail. Will not order from them again. The only thing right was the foot pedal covers."
