I ordered a pair of Osaka coil springs from them with 2nd day shipping. That would be two identical springs, but what I received were clearly two different springs. One was wider and longer than the other, and it was all scuffed up. How do you make that mistake? Well they did and I can understand they're only human; it can happen. So I called and let Robert at Auto Parts Network know what I had received. When he asked me for the part numbers on the springs I read them to him but I couldn't give him the complete # on one of them because it was worn off, and though it was clear it ended in 22 which was different from the other ending in 61 he still had me on the phone for at least half an hour trying to decipher that #. Now neither of these were the part #'s I had ordered and the brand was not as described, but he informed me that the one with the # clearly legible on the spring (even protected with clear tape) was the right one for the car and the other was not. He then said he would be sending me 2 new springs with a call tag for the 2 I had received. When I questioned if he would be sending 2- he said yes that the OBK brand is different than the Osaka's I ordered and he would send 2. Well, I let him know that I needed them as soon as possible and how I had paid for 2nd day with these because of that, and he said he understood. Now I was expecting to get the other ones in a day maybe two, but when I didn't see them after three days I called and spoke to Robert again. I told him I hadn't gotten a tracking # and was wondering where they were. Well, he tells me nothing was sent! That the warhouse wanted to know if I had one correct spring then they would only have to send me one, and that he tried to call and E-mail me but couldn't get in touch. I hadn't gotten any E-mails or calls from him for 3 days. And when I said that we already discussed what he needed to know and how it was he who said that he wanted to send two out and of the original brand, he now said that they are the same brand. ??? A bunch of nonsense; that I let go. It's friday that I'm speaking to him so I asked that I get them saturday and was told no, maybe by tuesday. I just lost it after that. What would the shipping have cost them to send 2 springs out vs 1? An extra $5.00. What is it costing me to have my wife's car laid up with a broken spring for all this time. What kind of con job is Robert and Auto Parts Network running? Their response to some of these negative reviews listed here, where they offer a 10% discount is a weak attempt to save face after the fact. What did they do to help me when I needed it? They sent me the wrong parts of a different brand in poor condition; waisted my time trying figure out their mistake; lied to me; lied to me some more and basically said we don't care about you; just threw some garbage in a box and sent it off for me to deal with. I'm not getting any help from Robert or anyone there at Auto Parts Network dot CON."
