"I ordered a table online - nowhere does it say they are curbside delivery or that they don't assemble the table when you place an order. Two days later, I got a phone call from one of the customer service reps who needed to confirm our address. She then said we should make sure to check the boxes when they arrive to make sure they're not damaged. That is all she said.

A few days later, it occurred to me that she might mention that because the people delivering the boxes won't be bringing them up to our apartment. My boyfriend called back and asked to confirm if this service was curbside or not. The lady said it was, but that the boxes were three, easy-to-lift containers that me and my boyfriend would be able to carry ourselves, no problem.

When the table got here at 7:30 at night, the truck driver said he couldn't deliver it to our apartment, which he was sitting right in front of. We went down to the truck and asked to see the table before the truck driver drove off with it, which he had begun to do. He reversed and parked again, then opened the back and showed us the table. It was in two HUGE boxes, not three small ones, like we were promised.

The driver tried to lift the boxes himself - merely to see how heavy they were for us - and could not lift his side of it. He was a large man who is obviously able to carry and lift heavy boxes, as he's a truck driver and does this sort of thing all day. If he couldn't lift it, my boyfriend and I definitely could not lift the boxes ourselves. We live on the second floor - there's no way we could've gotten those boxes up the stairs to our apartment.

We told the driver we didn't want it and called the company to cancel our order, as we were lied to on the phone and did not receive the service or product we were told we would get. The company returned our call, but neither the CSR nor the manager would listen to us, and when we tried to explain what happened, they hung up on us - repeatedly. I've never seen such terrible customer service from a company in my life. I will not be recommending them to anyone."

"I purchased the Ultimate Poker Table Jr to start hosting a home game. I wanted to purchase the larger version, the UPT, but once I measured the area for the table I realized the UPT Jr would have to do. I was concerned it would be small but it will easily sit 8-10 normal sized people. If you regularly have a game with 10+ people and some larger bodies, you may want to buy the larger version and not the Jr. Here were my buying guidelines:

Space limitations: 150" by 98" Room
Table was 82" x 42"
Game Size: 7-10

Table is a perfect fit. If i could upload a picture i would. I purchased the Raspberry speed cloth for the felt upgrade and it is so smooth. It eliminates cards sticking or flipping over and the need for the dealer to reach if they're at the end of the table.

Bottom line: Don't cheap out on a $300 or so table at Sports Authority or Amazon. These tables are the real deal. They even smell nice from the wood used to craft it. It really looks like a piece of furniture instead of something that goes in a room only during poker time.

Christy at BBO was awesome. She sent me a coupon for 5% off and answered all my questions. The only hiccup was they sent me the wrong decks of Copags from the website, but they quickly resolved the issue by sending me the right set of cards and allowing me to keep the wrong ones.
