"I had 2 issues with this order: therefore I removed 2 stars from the 5 star rating possible for Overall Satisfaction and this is why.....
Issue 1) ordered one cartridge for $89 and the shipping charge was $15. This was the least expensive shipping option I could choose. The label showed it was 1 LB and according to their customer service they are charged by the carrier for the size of the box that they ship it in not the weight in this case. Hence, I took 1 star off for limited shipping options. Subsequent research revealed the same cartridge, same price for $6.90 USPS Priority, Standard ground $8.75, 3rd bus day $12.49, and 2nd day $16.14 from another tape and media retailer (NOT Amazon).
Issue 2) Packaging: my order came packed in styrofoam peanuts, This packaging method is so annoying as everyone knows, when you pull your product out you end up chasing peanuts around to gather them up and dispose of them. It's also known as one of the least favorable packaging materials for the environment.
Aside from the 2 issues with this order, I have ordered from Backupworks for almost 7 years now and have never had an issue with their products. I had initially rated this a 1 star and customer service contacted me immediately arguing that shipping cost should only be considered as only 1 facet of the rating and asked me to consider editing my reseller rating. Which I have. With that being said, I had difficulty picking the proper rating to describe MY overall satisfaction because; by definition 2 stars= somewhat dissatisfied, which I am and 4 stars=somewhat satisfied, which I am. Therefore I rated them 3 stars. Customer service should probably get 4 or 5 stars because if you rate them a 1, they will be on the phone to you probably the same day to find out why.
