Since we're in Utah and these are shipping to, Honolulu, HI is why the shipping was this expensive. Our site is linked right with UPS so the rates we get quoted are strait from them. You're always welcome to ship on your own UPS account if you have one. We ship a lot so our rates are pretty good, but some companies rates are better than ours. Thank you for your business. While most of the stands we sell do include a travel bag, not all of them do. Because the stands you purchased is most often used as a store display, the manufacturer doesn’t include the bag as it would increase the cost for the primary customer, who doesn’t need it. It does clearly state in the description that a bag isn’t included with the display, and directs you to the related products where you can purchase one if you’re traveling with it. I’m sorry you didn’t notice that before you ordered, but that bag is available if you need it. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Please let me know if you need anything else.”
