"After reading some of the more recent feedback in which some customers were not 100% satisfied, I was a little concerned about placing an order. However, with the majority of the feedback being very good, I went ahead and purchased an ibm thinkpad t40.

I placed the order on friday morning and was told it should ship that day.

Well, it shipped that day and arrived as promised. The item is exactly as it was described with all manufacturer warranties. It was not a repack with a limited warranty like some people sell. It has the full 3 year IBM warranty which I confirmed with IBM.

Therefore, my experience with this reseller was AWESOME! I got what I wanted, when I wanted, and probably saved about 400.00 compared to buying directly from IBM, which would have required me to pay sales tax. "

"Hi marks for fair prices and prompt shipping, Low marks for poor order fulfillment. Prior to ordering I contacted Bason to confirm that the SCSI drives I would be ordering would include **crucial** jumpers. The response from Bason was to be sure to request the jumpers in the special ordering instructions, although it seems odd that the jumpers, which should included automatically, required a special request. When I ordered 3 SCSI drives I requested the jumpers be sent as well. The drives arrived promptly but without the necessary jumpers (and without any manufacturer configuration instructions). When I contacted Bason they said (with apologies) they would send the jumpers via mail to arrive in a few days. The jumpers have not been received. The reason I ordered from Bason was due primarily to the very high rating at ResellerRatings.com and competitive pricing. I am glad that I tested the waters with a small order as it is unlikely that I will be patronizing Bason again.
