Got confirmation on the 2nd. that the item was shipped and thursday at 9 am the fedex guy was there with the item! now you guys are in BC and i am in QC..great job on logistics!

If, like me, your new laptop battery fails after less than 4 months, you're knackered!
You have to send it back in the original packaging (yeah, I always keep every box), supply the technical details of the old dead battery you binned, forward all the original paperwork and then send it at vast expense back to Hong Kong!
Can you see where this is going yet?
So learn from my mistake.
Save yourself a load of frustration and buy from Amazon. You may pay more, but you're protected if the product fails.

With reference to your reply: All my paperwork has BattDepot allover it & I said I bought it from what I was lead to believe was a UK site. So why do I have to return it to Hong Kong in it's "original packaging" regardless of all the documentation I have, which is the cause of my complaint.
I have contacted the Returns Centre and those are their conditions which I think are unreasonable and makes me question the validity of their whole Customer Service & Guarantee ethos.
You're called BattDepot and from what I can tell, you all have the same Head Office in: Room 2003, Tins Enterprise Centre, 777 Lai Chi Kok Road, Cheung Sha Wan, 00000 HONG KONG
So sorry if you in N America operate in a different way, but you are part of the same company and will be associated with it's treatment of customers regardless of geography. "

"The battery I ordered was fine but I paid an extra $20 for overnight delivery. I ordered on January 1st so I knew I wouldn't get it on the 2nd but I didn't receive the battery until the 4th. UPS was at fault but since I paid the shipping to battdepot, UPS would not refund me. Battdepot had the nerve to say that UPS tried to deliver on the 3rd and I wasn't here. THAT is just not true. UPS admitted to missing my delivery."
