"Last Wednesday I have received the Scooter Battery I had ordered. My first surprise was that the battery wasn't new. I went back to the web site, and althoough the battery shown on the picture (with manufacturer seals) is new, it wasn't written anywhere that is was new, I should have read more carrefully (It doesn't say anywhere it is used though). The add read that it came fully charged. From the green corrosion on the positive pole of the battery, I had my doubts that it came charged. I installed the battery Wednesday night and the battery wasn't charged. On Thursday I have use the charger (new) that I have bought with the battery. Charger works fine, but the battery doesn't charge at all. I have sent an email to Battery Mart on Friday morning, I didn't hear back yet. I will keep you up to date for you to know how they will resolve this issue.

*** Update - Batterymart has replied. They assure that they don't ship used, but from the looks oif that battery, there is no way to me it's new. Anyway, they have proposed that I send it back for refund. I needed to pay the Transport (That's equivalent of half the value of the Battery). I have let them know that they can give me a refund, or Ship back a "real new one" that is fully charged. Will keep you updated.

First, I wish to let you know I have been refunded by BatteryMart. Now let make a few points, in reaction to the comment Battery Mart has made concerning my review.
1) I have never called Battery Mart, I have sent 2 emails. I have never complained about sticky residue. I have in fact complained about scrathes all over the battery, but mostly about the positive connector of the battery beeing filled with green corosion. As I had explained in the first email, I have cleaned the battery pole with sand paper, but I have let them know there were still residue at then of the pole, that I could not reach. They did not mention in their comment that the Battery did not come fully charged as it was suppose to, and even after charging it for 12 hours with the charger I have bought from them (charger was new and it is working fine), the battery did not take any charge. The bottom line is that there is no way that this battery was new, and it was not just a little used. This type of error is something that can happen, but the point is to admit your fault and to correct it. It has cost me 25$ to send the battery back, it has caused me the trouble of charging it, contacting the company 2 times, package it, and my son still didn't have his scooter battery."
