"I am a frequent customer at Bealls. Good quality merchandise at very affordable prices and satisfied with good sales and coupons offered. My only complain is the staff shortage not enough cashier registers open and time spent waiting in line. Sales associates are not always available for assistance though I normally am able to find items myself."

"Today there were lots of customers and few sales reps/cashiers, so lines got long, and customers were buying things that didn't have tags, were using coupons, were asking questions, so it took an unusally long time to check out, and cashiers were not very friendly or warm. It was my most disappointing time to shop at a Beall's store."

"On a previous purchase I discovered that I had actually been charged twice on my credit card for the same item. On another visit I took two pairs of shoes to the check out, but was told that only one was actually on the 70% off promotion. Last Sunday I retured to purchase the shoes not on the 70% off promotion with a coupon that I received from my previous purchase which became valid on this date, only to be told on coupons were being accepted because everything in the store was half off. So today I went to use my coupon, only to be told that the clearance items that I wished to purchase would not be reduced to the half off price with the use of the coupon. It would have cost $20 more to purchase my desired items with the coupon than it would without the coupon. I was told that I could buy one and get one free, but it's that the same deal and 50% off which has been the advertised offer on the clearance items each time I have been it the store lately. So what kind of special is that?"

"I do have a complaint. After helping my daughter make her purchases, I asked to put 2 blouses on hold. The manager said that would be fine and I told him I'd return on Sunday to pick them up. Upon returning on Sunday, the employee available was only able to find one of my blouses because the manager had only written down one of them. We searched in the back room and also on the racks to no avail. I was pretty upset because I had planned to wear it on the 4th of July. In retrospect, I wish I had asked the manager to see the piece of paper he wrote my items on so that I could either confirm what he had written or made changes if necessary(and it was necessary)."
