"My shopping experience ws fine, but the checkout process was horrible. I was offered a free magazine subscription to which i declined, I was not interested it is a waste. the associate then said are you sure its free for three months, i said ok but i dont really want it. he never once told me that my credit information would be sent to the magazine company. I was reading the screen and it told me when i told him I didnt not want to do that he told me it was too late he had already submitted it... Nothing shou;d have been submitted before i signed. he said I could cancel by calling the number on the flyer. So i called and i cant cancel for two weeks. This has never happened to me before at a store. I can not believe a company would allow their associates to sign customers up for something they already said they didnt want and send my card information to a company i dont trust......"

"I always have a decent experience in the Bealls here and back home at the Peebles. They both employee people willing to go out of their way to help you and with a decent attitude. More than once associates have taken the time to help search for a certain size or color of an item for me even if it meant contacting another store. (I have 5 girls and I used to occasionally like to do photos with matching outfits and they helped make that possible.) One time the employee also took the time to go into the boys clothes and get me two boy outfits to match for my sons, items I didn’t know they had but they thought would be a good suggestion. I’m usually pretty impressed with these stores even the website. Only complaints I can say I ever really had was the whole “buggy” situation. Those little bitty “carts” they have hold nothing unless you are going looking for 3 maybe 4 items and there isn’t room for the kids to be in them."
