"Bed was to be delivered between 8 am and 8 pm. There should at least be a 4-hour window or a call before so a whole day isn't wasted. (City delivery; it couldn't be left outside the door). Everything came as promised. Foundation is impressive - real wood, very sturdy. It took my daughter and me (not super mechanically skilled) a solid hour to assemble. Instructions were very clear. Getting the mattress out took some time. We needed to cut the duffle bag and plastic very carefully so we wouldn't damage the mattress.
The whole process is a two-person job unless you're a pro.
Mattress had a very slight smell - Not unpleasant, as I was expecting from comments. It's a little chemical - like a glue.
It is pretty much gone after 1 week.
We inherited a Zinus bed and frame in the apartment and the foundation/frame broke when we moved it around. It's cheaply made- like the IKEA frames we looked at - NOT like the Bedinabox. The mattress is also memory foam and foam but thinner and not as comfortable.
The main user of the bed went away before it came so she hasn't slept on it yet.
Other than the delivery issue - all seems very good."
