"So i have been with them over a year and always paid before due date. As of today I go check my credit and I have had a drop...belks charged me 39 dollars for a late fee as it was 1 day late this month. However since going through covid 19 I have managed to pay my account down a pretty good bit. Yet this company decides to lower ny credit limit which now raised my utilization once again. Which is complete bs. All of my accounts with each company are in good standing etc. This company is complete nonsense in my opinion. Why would you lower it once I've paid it down?

Unfortunately I do not have a printer. My other option was to go to a FedEx office. The nearest office was 45 minutes away. Terribly inconvenient. I will never purchase from Belk again.

" okay so I had placed an order online for a pair of shoes, and when I hit confirm order, it told me that I have my card information all wrong, so Irene put it information again thinking that I possibly may have put my information wrong, and I did it again and then it gave me the same letters and bright red that my card information was wrong again and then I got to check my bank account and two payments were pending for Belk oh, so I had called and I asked the lady to please scratch one of the payments that I don't need two pairs of shoes that all I need is one pair to go ahead and refund one of the payments, she said that's fine no problem this that and the other and I and then she told me three to five business days that I would have my money back, welcome to find out I had called yesterday, being Thursday, just to get an update on if my money is in transit or anything like that, well I check my bank account again and there still two payments pending, and I was like oh my goodness really, I have ordered things from Japan and I get to email immediately stating that the payment has been confirmed, then the next day I get an email from the same Japanese companies that they have either sent out my package or that it's being packed up and ready to go. Belk had done nothing concerning the double charge, so I had to call and again make sure that they cancelled the order, they couldn't even find my card information, they had my case number which I had given them but they just couldn't find my card number or the purchase that was made. So needless to say this pretty much infuriated me to the point where I said you know what cancel the first order to, I don't want anything from you guys at all, if you cannot even have the decency to send me an email to tell me hey we got your payment or hey your shoes are on the way, in a company that's on the other side of the world can do this efficiently, and we can't do this here in the United States in the very same Nation that I'm ordering a product from, this is just absolutely ridiculous and I will never advise anyone to use Belk again. The sad part is is that I used to love shopping from Belk until I have have encountered this problem. I don't know whoever is in charge now, but this is from me to you, stop messing things up, and get back on the ball like it used to be. Or resign."

"Belk has always been my number one shopping store at Pinnacle Trussville, Al. Belk closed their Home Store and combined several departments in one store. It is so junky and can not find anything. Even a couple of the sales clerks committed to me it was bad. I shopped three hours and came out with 2 items. Jc penny has the same brands and their store is neat. I know where I’m going to shop. "
"I placed an order a few days ago and went to check the order status to figure out what's going on as it hasn't shipped yet. I call customer service who told me one of the items was out of stock so they cancelled the entire order. I asked why the entire order would be cancelled if its just one item and upon looking on the website it's still showing available. I was told it was probably just their site hasn't been updated so I place an order for the remaining 2 items. 10 minutes later that order is cancelled. I call belk back to figure wtf was going on. This time spoke w/ a lady who said that my bank is declining the transaction so I call my bank and ask what's going on. Turns out belk was repeatedly charging my card over and over again back to back which locked the card. After unlocking the card we call belk to try to replace the order thinking maybe third times a charm. The order was then cancelled again because the exact same thing happened. At this point I am beyond **** as my card was charged $359 seven times. The customer service reps at belk are basically useless and have no answers anything. They love to tell you they will call you back and never do. Just avoid at all cost. Not worth the hassle or stress. Half the items they say are in stock are sold out and just not updated on their website."
"They hold the purchase price from your bank account then charge you again when the order ships. Most people operate on a budget and do not expect this nor can afford it. Also, on a order of 4 items they shipped 3 different shipments requiring signature. I work for a living. I can't take off 3 different days to be there for one order. They are still in the dark ages with logistics. "
"I bought a pair of shoes online for my daughter who needs a wide width. They didnt fit and she wanted a smaller size. I returned them to the store in the hope of expediting this process. The clerk told me that i could have it delivered to my house OR the store and it would be free shipping either way. Its not true, but in any case, he computer screen told her they didnt have what i wanted. When i asked to clarify when they would have them in stock again, she didnt know. She didnt seem that knowledgable so I just decided to go home to order them myself. Sure enough, they were in stock and i had to pay shipping. Ok. So i ordered them to be shipped to me. About a half hour later, i realized i should have just sent them directly to my daughter at college so I called CS. They said it was too late to change the shipping address. Really??? A half hour later after ordering? They really need to step up their game. Probably wont order from them again."
