"Hello All - I just made another purchase, as a gift, from Lisa at Berger Bros. It seems this company just keeps getting better with their service. It's difficult to make a purchase from a USA company from my home on Guam, but the Burger Bros folks make it easy.
I believe it would be very hard to find a major camera store with better service and also very competitive prices.

"I have been a customer of the Berger Bros for many years. I have purchased mostly all of my camera equipment from then.
I have attended several instruction sessions at their two stores and have always been satisfied.
The last class I attended I won a prize and was told that I would be sent a Lensbaby in the mail. I forgot about it for several weeks, I already owned a Lensbaby composer and all the accessories. On day I realized I did not get my prize. I emailed the Berger Bros main email account and asked about the prize.
Well, Brad Berger (the Owner) contacted the company that was supposed to forward the Lensbaby, they in-turn contacted me and In one week I had my Lensbaby which they (Berger Bros) let me exchange for another accessory that I did not have.
This is a great store with reasonable, fair priced equipment,the employees are experienced, helpful people who do not try to sell you equipment that is above what you need.
It has been my pleasure to recommend them to my friends.

"At a local astronomy club star party, we were comparing different eyepieces that various members had acquired in recent months and one member pulled out a Meade Series 5000 SWA 34mm eyepiece and mentioned that he had gotten it at the bargain price of only $99 (it's a $200 eyepiece). I tried it out in my Meade Lightbridge 12" telescope and was very impressed at how well it worked out on my particular telescope.
So after I got home that night I went to work online to see what kind of the deal I could find on that eyepiece. The next day I finally hit pay dirt with Berger Bros Camera! Not only did they have it in stock but at the incredible price of $99 with a reasonable $8.95 shipping fee (it's a large, heavy eyepiece).
I placed the order right then and there and the next day I got a call confirming my order and validating my credit card (smart way to do things on their part). A few days later the eyepiece showed up just in time for the next star party (we have 2 different star parties around the new moon, instant gratification!). It was fantastic!
I'm a very happy camper and am so grateful to find it not only in-stock but still at the sale price from last fall. Ordering from Berger Bros Camera was real simple and I liked that they validated my credit card transaction before running it, I'll certainly be making future purchases with them!

"I have nothing be good things to say about my transaction with Berger Bros. I had been looking for a Tokina 100mm f2.8 macro lens in Nikon mount for a little over a month. All of the sites I normally order from on the Internet had been out of stock for over a month. The very helpful staff at Berger Bros. took the time to check inventory for me, even taking the time to call their other store. I placed the order right away, going with the free ground shipping. "I discovered Berger Bros. through my membership in Nikonians, an organization of Nikon users. Berger Bros. has "partnered" with Nikonians to provide a blog for members, plus the camera store services. Being in the market for new lenses, I called to discuss my needs. I first spoke with Lisa, who was extremely helpful. My second call was answered by Brad, the owner. We had a long talk and he made recommendations that worked perfectly for me. I purchased the Nikon 70 - 200 2.8G ED AFS VR II lens and additional filters. Shipping was overnight to me here in Maryland and went without a hitch.
I highly recommend Brad and his store, without reservation. This is one of the most pleasant, professional business transactions I have ever had. "I purchased the highly sought after Leica M9 (steel gray) from them. Brad, the owner of shop, has been extremely helpful and responsive. He treats his customers with honesty, friendliness and takes great care to make sure everything is in good order.
I have never been to their store nor even heard about them before as I'm living abroad. My communication with Brad was mainly over the phone and email. The first time I call him we had a long chat and got to know each other well. The whole deal was then based on trust.
