"Best buy does not have customer service. There is a name you can click on their web page, but it only goes to more links you can click, none of which have any value at all.
They have a customer service phone number. 1-888-BESTBUY --- If you are patient enough to decipher that idiotic crap, it translates into something you can dial 1-***-***-**** --- That leads to a survey or something recorded followed by a hangup from them. Absolutely no customer service.
When you buy something in the store, they will promise a delivery date and give you a printed page ensuring it, but DO NOT believe it. It may or may not happen.
Their system does not show what is actually in stock with the vendors.
If there is any problem, you WILL NOT be notified of the change. You will sit there for days, or weeks and NEVER know what has happened.
If you were fortunate enough to be served by Pacific Kitchen and Home, or another contractor they have hired, you can contact those reps and get an answer...but they TOO must rely on Best Buy's internal systems...so no matter how hard they try...they are as much victims of Best Buy's eternal incompetence as you will be if you buy there."
"Went to store to buy a phone and the guy was unable to edit my BB account and change the address.
Despite his effort to fix it, he was just unable to do it (lack of intelligence, maybe), end up losing the deal (black friday) because nobody could do it.... Went to another store and the guy fix it, but they didn't have the phone anymore.
This is the second time (and last) that I tried to buy a phone at Best Buy and something went wrong because they are unable to do it (or just do it wrong). They have no clue what they are doing."

Firstly let me explain that I am Canadian and live just a few houses from the border. I cross to the USA and have ordered hundreds of items online to a parcel service office in Washington state near my home. I have a US credit card from a US bank with the same parcel service office address for billing. If a website accepts my Canadian credit card I use that one otherwise I use the US card.
Best Buy does accept foreign credit cards and has excellent documentation on how to do this. Sadly, the phone number listed in their help for foreign orders is no longer in service. After following their procedures for foreign orders I successfully ordered my phone. Sadly, I was mistaken as the order was cancelled with no explanation. I tried calling but it was "after hours" but the business hours were not stated. I tried two more times with different addresses, both additional orders were cancelled without explanation. For all three cancelled orders my credit card was successfully charged as reflected on my banking website.
The next day I called BestBuy customer service who escalated the cancellations to another department. Unfortunately they could not take my order by phone because it was for an unlocked phone (huh?). Rather than waiting to hear back I had two backup plans. One, try using a PO Box I have in Washington state or two, use my US credit card. The order successfully went through on my US credit card.
I did hear back on the escalation. The three cancelled orders were cancelled because the addresses used are for parcel shipping offices which is not allowed for foreign orders? Wow, Amazon, Best Buy, Zappos, Tire Rack, New Egg and dozens of other companies have no issue with these office. What does BestBuy know that they don't?
My order arrived much slower than the promised 2 day shipping but within one week which was acceptable for me. After I got the phone I went online to print a receipt. After logging in and viewing my order the closest thing I could get to a receipt was an "order details" page. I looked online at the BestBuy website help and found the instructions on how to print a receipt for an online order. Unfortunately the instructions were, again, incorrect. The instructions made reference to a "View Order Receipt button" which did not exist. I called BB customer service and they advised me the order details page print is all they offer in the way of a receipt. No receipt was in the box when shipped. No receipt was ever sent in the many emails from BestBuy regarding this order, nor was a link to a receipt offered. I contrast this with the many other online retailers I have shopped with and can't help the feeling of being underwhelmed.

Cons:
- Incorrect web pages. The only thing worse than no information is bad information
- Bizarre policies that allow orders to proceed then get cancelled without explanation
- 2 day shipping not always honored without explanation
- No online receipt or invoice
- Customer service, while easy to contact, often can't resolve the issues
Summary:
Best Buy is a well known national brand that really should be a leader in creating an easy, excellent online experience. I really expected so much more. One only needs to make an Amazon order or two to see just how wonderful a web merchant can be."
"Purchased a dryer online. Setup appointment. Appointment window available was late in the day. 4-8pm. Had to do a lot of shuffling to be able to be home for delivery but I made it work. My husband also wanted to be here so he took time off of work.
I get a call an hour into my appointment window saying they won't be delivering my dryer and would I like to reschedule. Ummm, excuse me, WHAT?? No reason given, it just didn't get loaded on the truck in the morning mind you. And they waited until after 5pm to let me know! WTF!?!?!?
I called their customer service. They tell me the dryer can't be located. Ummm, ok, what does that mean exactly? I never got an answer but they were pushing me to reschedule even though they had no idea if they even had the item. Absolutely the biggest waste of time and energy. Oh, but he offered me a $25 gift card for the inconvenience. They can stick it. I will never, ever shop there again!!! Inept to say the very least. Purchase canceled!!"
"I ordered an ink cartridge online and when it failed to show up I tried to track it but the website kept rejecting the order number I was given. When I finally found a number to call they said I would have to talk to the courier but they couldn't give me the name. I finally reached the seller who said that courier tried to deliver but I wasn't home so they dropped it off in another town for me to pick up. When I asked for a refund they said they won't.refund until I can prove it was returned to them. The courier won't talk to me . They said they have to talk to the seller.. Seller, which is Mike's Computer Shop say they can't talk to the courier. So they have kept my $100 and there's no one who will take any responsibility for this. I ordered this from Best Buy. Don't ever order anything online from them."

I bought the cheapest of the displayed xmen movie. I get home and the movie was not the new but rather the old xmen movie in a new cover. The old one was not in the wrong spot either. When I tried to return the movie for the new one they would not take the rerun saying that it's a dad and they don't allow dvd return. "
"I cannot express how angry and frustrated I am with Best Buy's delivery service, or lack thereof.
We ordered 4 thousand dollars worth of appliances (and have spent many thousands more at Best Buy over the years), and setup a delivery for 9/15/2016 between 4pm and 8pm. We received a call on 9/14 confirming the delivery window of 4pm to 8pm and that we would receive a call 30 min before delivery.
On 9/15 at 2:30pm my wife received a call from the rudest, nastiest individual we have had the displeasure of dealing with, stating that he was 25 minutes away. My wife advised that our appointment was for 4 to 8 and no one is home. The driver stated too bad, he will be there in 25 minutes (at 3pm). At the time I was at work, and my wife was working at a fair in our food truck.
I called customer service, and the rep called the warehouse (who called the driver). The CS rep stated that the driver was told not to come at 3pm, but THAT HE WOULD BE THERE AT 4 PM SHARP, and to make sure I was home. Fair enough, I let work early to make sure I was home at 4pm.
Their driver never showed.
At 7pm he called and started yelling at my wife, asking her if she was home yet, and hung up. He then called back and stated he had other deliveries to do and would not make it. At this time, I called into customer service again.
While I was on hold with customer service, a warehouse rep called my wife (who conferenced me into the call) and the rep asked why we were complaining, we were still in the delivery window. Then she stated we refused delivery, that the driver was at my house and I refused. I hung up that call since I was on the phone with a CS rep and didnt want to get disconnected. The driver never came, he is a flat out liar, and is the nastiest individual to deal with on the phone.
I was transferred to a supervisor, since the rep stated that we would not get a delivery, and we would not be able to reschedule since the items are still on the truck.
At 8pm, (I had been on the phone for over an hour now) the CS supervisor, who was horrified at the excuse she was given, and even she realized that in no way could the driver been here at 7pm, since I was on the phone for over an hour, starting before 7pm, trying to get delivery. And what could she do to not lose us as a customer.
The reality is, she was powerless to do anything, there is nothing she could do to even re-schedule our appliances. Meanwhile, I have electricians and plumbers coming to my house today, that I have to pay for, but they cannot do any work since we do not have the appliances, and have no ETA of when they will be delivered. Now they say they can come on the 20th, my counter tops are scheduled to be installed on the 19th and need the appliances there before then.
Best Buy's driver made me leave work early, knowing full well that he had zero intention of delivering my appliances. Since I could not accommodate getting the delivery early, he decided to screw me over and deliberately withheld the delivery, and lied about the circumstances. By the brazen way he did it, and with the level of vulgarities hurled at my wife, it is obvious he has been doing it without recourse for quite some time, and has no fear of repercussions for treating the customers this way, since the warehouse obviously condones the behavior.
We have spent thousands of dollars over the years, and with the purchase of our new home will be in need of additional electronics in the immediate future. (Washer dryer, 2 more TV's just to start) and had planned on getting them where we get all of our appliances and electronics from Best Buy,,,, But with this experience, that will not be happening, and I will be telling everyone I know, and anyone I don't know that wants to listen, about the absolute horrible experience it is dealing with Best Buy's delivery people.

"Made the mistake of purchasing a Note7 from BestBuy.com. After Samsung announced the recall I waited 5 days to return my note to bestbuy for a refund. The staff was completely clueless about the returns and rude. They refused to return my Note7 past 14 days even though the bestbuy website clearly said they will. "Worst Experience of Customer Service Ever:
-Purchased a Dishwasher and Refrigerator and scheduled with BestBuy for 4-8pm Thursday night
-Recived voicemail confirmation Wed evening for Thur install between 4-8pm
-Recieved call from tech at 10am Thur saying they would be arriving shortly
-Told them NO it needed to be in the window of 4-8 as scheduled
-Tech said he would call company and let them know and someone would reach out to me
-3pm Thursdau amd no one had reached out to me to explain what happened
-Left work early and sufferred approximately $100 loss to ensure I was available for delivery
-Tore out dishwasher and kitchen and living room mess to provide space to move everything
-3:15PM called and spoke with Rep for 40 min. while they attempted to track down installation crew
-Rep said they would call back when contact made & they never called back
-5:00PM called and went through the same senario. Never received a call back and they could not contact the crew
-6:30PM Called again and received same service. Could not contact crew but assured me someone would contact me
-8:10PM Called and spoke with Rep again and received same service. No idea where crew was and attempted to get ahold of them
-Crew was never contacted and no one from Best Buy or Delivery company contacted me
-I WAS NEVER COMMUNICATED WITH !!! No one called to say there was a delay or reschedule was missing
-This was a complete "No Call - No Show"
-Called BB Friday morning at 8am and spoke to rep
-Rep said they would be unable to deliver today because the trucks already went out
-How in the world do you miss an Afternoon delivery and then not deliver the next day!!!
-Rep said the Delivery Company would have to compensate me for my inconvenience
-My business was with Best Buy, not their contracted delivery company
-The company would not deliver Friday but said they would deliver Saturday morning between 8am and 12
-Shortly after received BestBuy email stating delivery would be Monday
-Called again and was told that morning was taken up so they pushed it to Monday
-They then asked if I wanted Sat afternoon instead. DUH!!! Of course.
-This was the worst experience ever in customer service
-6 Phone calls taking amounting to about 4 hours of my life and also loss of work time
-Delivery company did say they would send a $75 gift card but really this should be doubled at minimum!
-I work in customer service and would never let a client have this type of treatment"

Best Buy double charged my bank account debit card and daily debit card limit it $1500. It shows daily I agreed to pay two payments of $1396.
I asked Best Buy to advise my bank they are releasing one of the payments. They faxed my bank blank paper.
It causes me problems using my debit card because my daily limit is $1500 and the charges show daily eating up my limit. I just held for 30 minutes and nobody picked up on their help line.
