"After ordering they sent me an e-mail with UPS tracking number. The tracking number turned out to be invalid and the item never shipped.I called their support 800# 10 times and never got through,just sat on hold for 10+ mins each time to be trans to a mbx that doesn't take messages.I emailed them 15 times and received no reply.I have disputed the charge as they absolutely SUCK, will never order from these rip off artists again. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"i purchased what i thought was a new tv on bigondigital.com. soon after my card was charged, i went back to the website and found that the tv i bot was re-categorized as a 'mfr. re-certified' tv. I DID NOT see that on the original page where i bot the TV. Several online reviews on pricerunner.com state that they had the same thing happen to them. i called my bank and cancelled my order. i may get hit with some charges, oh well....beware of bigondigital.com...IT"S A SCAM and several people have said so...."

"I placed this order online on November 3 and had to call 5 times before I could get my item shipped. This order was a Christmas gift and finally arrived December 23, after several calls placed to them. Customer Service and delivery are horrible. I will not ever use them again."

"About 16 hours after I placed my order they started emailing me asking me to call. I replied asking what the hold up was, and my only response was an identical email the next day asking me to call.

I entered two phone numbers into my profile. I guess they are too lazy to call, or they expect you to do the leg work while they sit on the order.

"I ordered an in stock item in October and after two weeks of trying to find out any information,no communication was sent by Big On Digital, was told the item was on back order. When the TV finally shipped in November, it arrived damage and again there was no communication as to the status and they did not call nor communicate the status. I finally cancelled the order after they kept telling me that they didn't know when the product would ship. This company by far has the worst customer service I've ever encountered."

"I ordered a nikon coolpix camera on this site on 25 Oct 05. At the time of ordering, it specially checked the condition of the product. It was written BRAND NEW. When I received it after 15 days, it was a refurbished product. Till then the site was still showing NEW. When I called them, at that very moment, they changed the status to Refurbished. I was shocked to see this. They accepted the mistake but refused to take back the camera. I should suggest everyone, not to but anything from this site.

"This company is a fraud. I reported already. Purchased from this store GPS for the car. When open box it was deffective. I called them to obtain return authorithation (it was only five days since I received it they giving ten days return policy) they refused to accept return and offer me to deal with manufacturer. On their Web site they stating that all products what they sell coming with full manufacturers warranty. They are not authorized resailler and manufacturer (Pioneer) void the warranty. I paid over $1200 and now I have to fight to get my money back.
Beware of this "retailer"!

"Here is the email explaining what happened to me:

This will be my last attempt to work things out with you by either phone or email rather than to report a fraudulent transaction to my Mastercard company. What’s happened so far:

9/13/05 – I placed my order for your “MiniMax7DKIT” at the website price of $1059.99, and a spare battery for $69.99 from salesperson Sean. The kit is a Minolta 7D camera body plus a Minolta 28-100 lens. Total charge = $1195.25 including the high shipping and insurance charges. (The exact same camera body alone without any lens was priced $80 cheaper at $979.99 as “MiniMax7D” on the website, and still is.) The full charge was placed against my Mastercard by you that same day. I was told before I ordered that both camera and lens were in stock, ready to ship, and would reach me in 14 days since I chose the least expensive ground shipping, otherwise sooner.

9/14/05 – I called back and cancelled the spare battery before shipping and was told that a refund for $69.99 would be made that day to my Mastercard account.

9/26/05 – I called on the 14th day to ask why my order had not come yet. Was told you had promised 14 business days, not calendar days. Was told camera and lens were not in stock when I had ordered 9/13/05 (opposite of what you said at the time of the order), but that you would still get it to me within the originally promised 14 business days by shipping both camera and lens by 2 day priority shipping at your expense later that week with an email and tracker number to come to me by email when shipped.

9/29/05 – Got an email to say order was shipped and with tracker number. Tracker number revealed shipment was by ground service, not priority as promised. You chose to save yourself some money rather than do what you had promised me.

10/6/05 – Package arrives on 17th business day since order was placed. Not within 14 as promised. And only item shipped was camera body, no lens. Invoice was in the box and a copy of it is attached to this email. Does not specify either “MiniMax7DKIT” or “MiniMax7D”, says “Minolta Konika Maxxum 7D 6.1 Mega Pixels - $1059.99” instead. I’ve never before seen a situation where the order is placed by item number, but the resulting invoice does not include that information, very curious this deliberate vagueness.

10/7/05 – Called the next morning to ask why no lens had been delivered when it had been ordered and paid for. Was at first told I had ordered the camera body alone. I pointed out that if so I had been charged $80 too much as the price charged was for the kit. Was then told on the same call by the same person after checking (with me on hold 5 more minutes) that OK you ordered the kit, but the lens was out of stock both when ordered (when I was told it was in stock along with the camera body) and when the body had been shipped 9/29/05. But (in a remarkable coincidence) the lens had been shipped to me 10/6 (the previous day) as it had since come into stock. And the promise was made that you would email the tracker number that day for the shipment made the day prior. No email came then or since. No lens has arrived. Also asked about the $69.99 credit and was again told it had been made 9/14.

10/17/05 (today) – I called again to ask about the missing lens and the missing $69.99 credit. Was told lens did not ship on 10/6/05 as I had been told on the call made 10 days before. Was told it was now “in shipping”, and that you would confirm the exact status and phone me in the next 3 hours to tell me when it had or would ship and what the tracker number was for the shipment of the lens. Was also again told the $69.99 refund had been made 9/14/05 and you agreed it should long since have reached my Mastercard company. It has not. It has now been more than 3 hours since my call and you have not phoned.

What do I want at this point?
• As promised by you several times I expect a refund of $69.99 for the spare battery.
• And by end of day tomorrow 10/18/05 either send me email with a tracker number indicating the Minolta USA merchandise 28-100 lens has been shipped, or else a further refund of $80 reflecting the difference between the $1059.99 charged me for the camera-and-lens kit and the $979.99 price advertised on your website then and now for the camera alone which is what you actually sent to me.

"Highly discourage any dealings with the company. Immediately after order, they will call you to confirm your credit card information and then begin the process of jacking up your cost. It starts with insurance; in my case about $160 dollars and goes on from there. Luckily, I looked at this board and saw that the scam was beginning, so I cancelled the order. Of course, they tried to charge me a 7% fee to cancel an order that they had not even placed yet. Best advice - stay away!!!!"

"I ordered a new Canon Powershot Pro1 with accessories. They sent me a refurbished camera and left out $350 worth of accessories. When I tried to contact them, I was put on hold and get hanged upon for over an hour. I finally called VISA and report fraud. These people are scammers."

"I'm speaking from my own terrible experience with Big On Digital. I ordered an olympus digital camera in July from their online store. It took more than three weeks before I recieve it. And it turned out to be a used one. So I called and returned the camera at my own expense. Another three weeks passed, the exchanged camera arrived. This time it's a defective one. The USB connection to PC not work! Called them again, no explaination, no sorry. Just asked me to return it again at my own expense. They did agree to refund my original cost, but only after two month waiting and many frustrated calls. I don't believe it's an conincident they made two mistakes in a row. It has to make me wonder if they really ever sell anything new or good! So be carefull shoppers!

"First time bitter experience in my online purchasing. I order sony vaio, which was told brand new. And i placed order. After two days, seller sent me email to contact them. They assigned Love as sales agent. I talked with him. He try to sell me extended insurance. That was kind of annoying.I denied. However, they made me pay 76 bucks extra for the shipping which had never mentioned and shown at the time i placed order. I said okey because the item was still good with that price if it were brand new as they claimed. At the mean time, i happened to read customer review from this web site about the seller. I wanted to stop the processes and called to my bank given that i did not get any shipping information by that time. But it was already late. They alrady charged my credit card but did not sent me information about the status. I tried to contact them, but they never replied my mail. When i threatned them of cancelling my order, they said i would get shipping information. At that time they said my item was aleardy shipped. However, after two days, they sent me invoice of shipping of date june 3. When i got my notebook, i was frustrated. It turned out refurshibed. I told them, but the customer representative claim that since the notebook has no scratches, it is new, nomatter of the sticker. I am kind of surprised to read even some good comments about them on this website. I feel like all of them might be written by themselves. If you have not placed order and just thinking about, it is wise not to go to them. "

"Good prices on TV's but not accessories. Expect to pay through the nose for accessories, shipping and service warranties. (They charged me over $400 to ship a 50" plasma display. The web site said the cost would be $199, but then they padded the cost by tagging on a $200+ insurance charge calling it "standard").

Padded prices aside, there were several problems even worse that will cause me never to use them again.

Worst of all was the fact that they charge your credit card immediately even for goods you order that aren't in stock (no matter how long it takes to come back into stock). Since nothing ships fast (30 days is fast to them), they are holding your money for a long time without any guarantees you'll get your product or a refund. Don't be surprised to have them cancel the order after you complain about it, and then make you wait two weeks and many phone calls for a refund.

Second worst was that they switched products on me (the wall mount) and sent what they had, not what I ordered. What a suprise when the wrong item arrived (one that mounted on only 1 stud, not 2). The sales person defended his actions saying that I didn't tell him not to and became very defensive and belligerent about it.

Stay away from this on-line store. It'll drive you crazy. They'll get your money, stall on shipment, switch products, not answer emails, and finally give you your money back if you complain loudly enough.
