"Placed order on 7/19/11. It was a pricing mistake and BikeBandit wouldn't honor it and they cancelled all orders for that item. No big deal, mistakes happen. They sent out an email claiming it was a supply problem. That was an outright lie.

Next day, Wednesday 20th still had not received refund for payment. Contacted CS by email, told they'd look into it. No response other than a later form letter. Mailed again on Thursday 21st, still no answer other than a vague promise to look into it. Same on Friday the 22nd.

Comes Monday the 25th, STILL no refund, chatted with "Summer", supposedly the head CSR. Asked for answers, told I didn't get a refund because the whole department was "off on Friday". When I asked why it wasn't handled on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday she was unable to provide an answer. Asked what's being done to handle it, she promised to "expedite things". When I pressed for an answer as to what that meant she informed me that things would be handled according to the "procedures of the department" and that *maybe* a refund would be issued within 48 hours.

So it's been nearly a week. I've been fed lie after lie, gotten delay after delay and am no closer to getting my money back. You can always tell the most about a company by how they handle problems, not how quickly they ship orders when there is no problem. I don't care if BikeBandit handles routine orders promptly. In this case THEY made the mistake on the original price listing, THEY made the mistake on not issuing refunds to people who bought the item and THEY continue to lie and stonewall about the status of refunds and they have my money locked up so that I can't order from somebody else. That's inexcusable. "

As for Yuasa batteries...the one I am replacing is 6 years old..the original battery on my 2005 VTX. The 6 year old battery is still working and shows no signs of failing. I am taking a ride from Spokane, WA to Fairbanks, AK and didn't want to have problems on a 5,000 mile trip. Otherwise, I'd still be riding on a 6 year old battery. 6 years on a bettery, what more could you want from a company? "
